Title: The "Trinsic is off limits" OOC rule. Post by: Kazuo Shinrai on March 23, 2006, 05:37:00 pm This is about the OOC part of this rule, that we cannot go to Trinsic.
If it were an IC rule then it would 'merely' be a Covian law, where each person could decide weither to adhere to it or break it and possibly face the consequences. Some OOC rules are acceptable and some actually add to a guild, making it more enjoyable, realistic or add a certain type of unity. Examples of these rules would be the CoRe LoW, abolishment of necromancy or limitations on elvish characters. This thread merely exists to give Command an idea of how we, the People, think about it and is NOT meant to undermine any authority meaning that even if 100% of the people vote against the rule and come up with some excellent motivation, it's still a rule and we still are to keep to it (in theory ;)). Also, I would like to stress the fact that this thread is not an attempt to rebel or overthrow any authority. Nor should anyone take this thread as such. Because of this I do not want to see any personal rants or expressive opinions. Constructive and well motivated comments on the other hand are most welcome. Loads of guilds rp in and around trinsic and i think it would be good ( for BoC and peoples chars) if we actually rped with them. I mean we only ever see guilds when a fight is about to happen (apart from VTC and the odd V now and again) Id like to rp with more people than cove and vesper, part of the fun of being in an rp community.
