Good news (or maybe not  :P) I'm back off my hols!

Huzzah!  ;D

Bad news is i'm having probs with uo/laptop (that's why i wasn't around much the week or so before i went on hols)

The problem is that when i log into to uo everything is fine for a couple of minutes or so then i lag horrendously!!!!

I've run diagnostics on laptop and it hasn't showed anything up so i'm at a loss - l haven't re-installed yet - it's a last resort.

But like i say any help will be gratefully appreciated so i can get back in game ASAP!!!

Try turning off your circle of transpiracy and see if that helps.
If not, try clearing your config files (they should automaticly be re-created)
you can save the macros though as they are in a different file.
Use re-installing as a last resort but usually that won't be nescessary.

I've spent all morning trying to get to the bottom of it.

Done some stuff and uo seems to be running a bit better but still lags badly after a while.

Just about to defrag hard drive to see if that helps.

Anyone else got any ideas - let me know ;)

Welcome back Raiden, Yea all I have to do sometimes is do what kaz said, heh i'm having patching problems of my own, so I had to reinstall it *sighs*

Managed a little time in game last night before lag became unbearable :(

Still got a coulpe of things to try before i go for re-install.

Did you remember to feed and water the hamsters? those little things cause chaos in my pc when i forget. Doh!
