Title: a Few Pointers (RTR) Post by: Joey Lanai on February 22, 2005, 10:48:01 am A few things that need pointing out
- Patrol Leaders Lately i've noticed that when someone runs an event or patrol that others seem to step in and take over becuase they out rank them or want the attention. DONT do it, this person made the effort to run the event, not you, a superior ranks role on a patrol is to make sure the lower ranks dont slip up, and to only step up when its completely necisary. Donwin's recent patrol was a good example of people trying to take command for their own reasons, i wont name anybody, but cut it out, its unfair and if its kept up, people probably wont bother running events. - Dismissal and leaving a Patrol/Line up If you need to be dismissed from a line up or need to leave urgently, you do NOT leave of your own accord, you ask to be dismissed. This applies to all ranks, even if you outrank the Guard in command, you let them know you have to leave so they are aware of it. --------------------------------------- If i see anyone acting as the above, then i will start taking names and it will be noted for future reference (I.E. promotion prospects).
