Title: Spellweaving... Post by: Kazuo Shinrai on June 03, 2006, 06:59:54 am I say we bring back the Arcanists, this time incorporated with Spellweaving.
Could have some great RP and PVM events. So unless this thread gets deleted (I give it about 23 minutes), who's with me? Title: Re: Spellweaving... Post by: Delcarakdur on June 03, 2006, 09:14:13 am Me

Anyhow, unfortunately Spellweaving is banned from CoRE. Plus, I'm not sure spellweaving fits in with the RP of Cove. Title: Re: Spellweaving... Post by: Delcarakdur on June 03, 2006, 12:34:22 pm May I ask why it's been banned?

Title: Re: Spellweaving... Post by: Erik Arkay/Evinyatar on June 03, 2006, 03:16:25 pm I know that :) But we still adhere to their RoE...
Besides, 90% of the spells are outlawed anyhow...Summons, Area affectors and polyspells Title: Re: Spellweaving... Post by: Delcarakdur on June 03, 2006, 04:33:41 pm *chuckles*
Maybe we should turn liberal eh? *nudges Erik and winks* Title: Re: Spellweaving... Post by: Samuel West on June 03, 2006, 07:58:06 pm Lets become a Democracy!
Title: Re: Spellweaving... Post by: Kazuo Shinrai on June 03, 2006, 08:01:16 pm Aye, I am aware of that.
But nevertheless it would create some good roleplay as spellweaving has some awesome spells. And even with the banned spells taken away, there are still enough boosts left to put the skill on every mage's wish list. Then there's also the quests which can be done IC. And in pvm, it just plain rocks. Can organize some grand hunts when we have spellweavers among us, even in the "new" ML dungeons. We could also set our own rules for in-guild pvp. I'd be most happy to go into detail and create a balanced system. Also, what I could do is even design a division. Just so people can have a look at it and post their feedback. Title: Re: Spellweaving... Post by: Kazuo Shinrai on June 03, 2006, 08:07:58 pm Heh, a democracy doesn't work. It's always good to have a general concensus when decisions are made, but in theory a dictative council of "wisemen"* is the best way to run any community.
*Wisemen who are selected by capability and intellect, they represent the public but are not publicly elected by them. Then, there's also the system of Montesqieu, where a government is devided in three controlling bodies. One who sets the law. One who enforces the set laws. One who controls the second and keeps an eye on the first body so they cannot set laws for their own gain (so that the first body remains powerless). This is a form of dictatorship without absolute power for any one governing body. But... back on the topic of spellweaving now! :) |
