Vlad, Junior Grenadier Delc Regular Guardsman (Joined just after the ice caverns) Joey Lanai Dragoon Corporal Vince Valentine Senior Grenadier (Leading) Kado Gael Watchman This was to be a training for Grenadiers and guardsmen who were intrested in becoming grenadiers. Different to regular trainings, because this was all in the face of danger! The first part consisted of explosives training. We were to 'dispose' of an arctic ogre lord using nothing but our trusted explosives, which grenadiers are famed for! Once deep within the cavern, Vlad and I proceeded to dish out flamey justice to the huge, frozen sod. (http://img240.imageshack.us/img240/4396/pic14vn.jpg) As the flames burnt him down, the ogre lord became outraged, and charged straight for Vlad! Luckily, his fine training and quick reflexes enabled him to dodge the lumbering giant, and stab an exposive right at the centre of his back! As the icy behemoth attempted to remove it, it reached the end of it's fuse, killing him instantly. (http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/9788/pic25hu.jpg) After this fine display of quick thinking, i was in no doubt as to the capabilities of Junior Grenadier Vlad, so we moved on to the next part of the training, to slay an ancient Wyrm! As we were leaving, Regular Guardsma Delc met us, where we were assaulted by another Icy ogre! Our covian training kicked in, and now, there is one more ogre in the abyss where it belongs! Harr! As we reached the wyrms nest, we began to grow suspicious. The air was not right, and all of the wildlife in the woods were in hiding.... Luckily, Dragoon corporal Joey Lanai met us, with a guardsman in tow, who's name escapes me. After a short while discussing tactics, we entered the nest, only to be greeted by the most horrific beast ever to walk the lands! A golden Wyrm, twice the size of an average wyrm charged us, and we scattered to regroup. The wyrm followed, and became lodged in the trees that surrounded us. As it smashed it's way through, we came up with a fine plan thanks to Vlad and Joey. But alas, it's magical abilities got the best of us a few times over! As we were deciding on the best course of action, we heard an almighty roar. As we turned to see what was making such a dreadful noise, we saw the golden monstrosity slide into the lake! Immense strength, but little brain power it seems eh? (http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/57/pic33ug.jpg) So, with the creature sinking into the depths of the icy water, we cheered, another victory for Cove, even if it was slightly off plan!
