Welcome to Cove

The pink rabbit with purple spots and flaming antlers turned again. Narrowing his eyes at the fiend, Khaelieth summoned his huge fish of rabbit gurgling. The fish flopped towards it, making some very fearsome "pook pook pook"-sounds. The rabbit quickly turned, got out its magic broom and flew away into the upside-down sky. Suddenly the sky turned twirly... A great colourful disc swirling round and round in the amusing pastelle-coloured sky. Oddly enough, the clouds were green. Khaelieth quickly gripped his staff and trotted towards the disc. The disc loomed in front of him. As it was about the envelop him, three sharp words could be heard. Khae vas flam. The disc then sported a pink rabbit tail. Sneering, Khaelieth advanced on it.

Opening his eyes, Khaelieth looked around. His head hurt as if a 'Goon horse just had misstepped and hit his head. Everything was twirly. Looking up at the ceiling -which wouldn't stop moving!- he got unsteadily to hit feet. Looking about, he wondered where he could be. This definetly wasn't Jessica's bedroom, or some obscure pub in Minoc. Well, perhaps it could be in Minoc. Putting one foot infront of the other, thinking that was a good start, he staggered on to another bad hair day!

Staggering out of the first chamber, some huge buckets were oddly placed in front of him. Climbing up the first and best, he looked around. A hole! Walking over to the hole, he couldn't see the bottom. Oh well, he said. And down he went.

Walking round a bend, a little underground oasis greeted Khae.

Walking around the desolate tunnels, Khaelieth was bound to meet someone. The creatures tickles Khae's memory of yesterday, but he couldn't say exactly what they meant. A picture of a big, cuddly beetle with pink fur also came to mind, strangely enough. And something about bridges.

Walking around, Khaelieth came into a chamber. Wondering aloud, he walked around the cocoons.

Walking some more, falling down a few holes and blasting a few ants, he had a nasty suspicion of walking around in circles.

A  fair few holes later, Khaelieth eventually got to the surface. But where was he? Looking around, he saw someone in the bushes. Calling out, he walked closer. "Hello there," he cried. The creature in the bushes called out and Khaelieth felt his body being lifted from the ground. So it was this way, was it!? Flinging destruction around and calling down lightning, the bush was soon a crater with the mangled body of a lich deep down.

The lich not being too talkative, Khaelieth decided which way was best.

The smell ahead grew stronger. Khaelieth wrinkled his nose. This smelled bad, and he wasn't talking about Delcarakdur's cooking. A wooden fort soon loomed infront of him. Suddenly, a creature leapt out of the bushes at him!Nonchalantly, Khae blasted the creature back into the bushes with a bolt of pure energy.

Walking towards the fort, Khaelieth scorched orc after orc with gouts of fire and even calling down thunder to finish the stronger ones. After a brief encounter, the orcs were dispatched, and Khaelieth could continue his trip home.

After a brief talk with a wisp, Khaelieth concluded he'd ended up in Yew. The land of the ex-swamp dwellers. Aside from boasting the greatest pig farm in history, they also had a band of over-zealous priests. These pigs hated elves. Figuring it was time to get out of Yew, Khaelieth got directions and legged it.

Arriving in Stonekeep, Khaelieth sped through, deciding to not overstay the usual warm Yewish welcome. Skulking to the Moongate, Khae got home.
