Title: Stop...BALRON TIME! Post by: Mela Arkay on June 21, 2006, 02:53:53 am After Peruns short patrol around Vlad lined us up and after we had all cracked a few old jokes at our beloved Hrothgar he told us we were headed to Spirituality to face a balron! Easy you say? Think again.
On arrival to the moongate me and I think it was Vlad were horrified to find a loyalist recruitment banner! So I did my thing, stompped on it a little but Vlad..phew he taught me a thing or two and whacked the banner which his giant mallet and I were mightily impressed when the banner crumbled. In spirituality we encountered nothing really that was hard I got a bit of pratice with my crossbow cos of all the skeletons which kept trying their luck with us. And now we were at tha dungeon, it weren't too impressive looking on the outside but when we got in, Raiden almost hurled cos of all the blood and guts everywhere, were quite gross really but anyhow, nothing too big and scary a couple of imps but they were down quickly. As we progressed futher Vlad formed us up and told us he were gonna draw a balron so we should have our bandaids ready..soon enough Vlad came troting back however his face were white as snow. Before running off he managed to scream in quite a high pitched voice: "RUN!!!" An we did, when we met up with him again he explained about a golden balron. But yer know he decided it'd be good for us to try anyhow and I being the only archer was the one to attack it using "Erik's Method". So I trotted off and got the thing to chase me..but it didn't work.. I fell on my bum and it hurt oh so much. After that we gave it a few more goes...all unsucessful about by now half of mine and the recruits gear were missing so we decided it was best to probably pull back. Which we did. Bloody cheek, nicking a Grenadiers essential supllies! Tough bugger tha' golden 'un tho'.
