Title: How the dragons gave ......grudgingly
Post by: Althalus on February 25, 2005, 10:15:22 pm
Well today i got me heavy duty armer out, i sat there oiling it all up and getting ready and as i sat there i woundered how my hunt would go.  As it turned out it went very well!
we all gathered in front of the baracks and as i looked down me line i was proud to see a good turn out.  Well once everyone was ready we promptly made our way to the dungeon Destard.  upon entering we imediatly ran in to a beast and promptly slew it.  with this victory to raise our spirits we boldly strode into the dark cavern to begin battle!

we fought for many long hours, slowly "conving" the residents to part with their skins.  At the end of the trip we returned with 200 barbed hides and 400 horned along with many crowns which were divided between the members who participated and the milita itself.

Thank you all for coming!

Aye, good show ye lot! Was a grand hunt; finely executed by Corporal Althalus, and good, stern, hard working attitudes from the guardsmen present.
That strange, random acidic ground was a bit of a nuisance though... *ponders*

Attendance List
* Corporal Althalus
* Regular Guardsman Kane (Tiberius)
* Junior Guardsman Jackhera Orange
* Junior Guardsman Cassius Livius
* Recruit Gimbly
* Recruit Gord Blackwell
* Commander Gregor Eason

A principle we enforced this evening quite heavily was the importance of staying together. It is crucial that when in a hunt or a battle you move as a combined force, nay as individuals. Group combat is all about teamwork.
So, whenever on a hunt ensure that ye are nay further than a step from the appointed leader.
Otherwise, good effort!! Hope to see more of these cracking hunts.
