Title: Report: Training the Juniors Post by: Gregor Eason on February 28, 2005, 01:48:04 am Earlier today, I took responsibility of instructing several Junior Guardsmen in the second combat training session of the Junior Course of Militia Academy.
Attendance List: Junior Guardsmen Arathorn, Julius Estory, and Tiolas Amildor. Junior Course, Militia Academy: Combat Training #2 The training session started off with some basic fitness to get the Junior Guardsmen pumped up and ready to go. The guardsmen were led on a short, fair paced run around Covian land, practicing sprints up by the old watchtower of Cove, and lifting eachother upon the back for long distances. On return to the Barracks rooftop, the Juniors were instructed on basic combat principles, and an expansion on the concepts and practice of tactical formations. Following this, the potential Regular Guardsmen were lead into the local Orc Fort to apply some of the formations and orders learnt. The next phase of the Junior Course will be an organised hunt, tackling some of the harder creatures of darkness that haunt our world. Commander Eason |
