When: Friday 8th September In Charge: Mela Arkay, Officer Cadet Attending: Kal Shadowhand, Retired Scout Henry Dreat, Guardsman Recruit Salick Kaysen, Watchman Hoagie, Regular Dragoon Perun, Junior Scout Vincent Redfield, Junior Dragoon Edmund Rufus, Junior Scout Attending in Part: Darath Mithar, Officer Cadet Exillion, Guardsman Recruit Kurt, Regular Guardsman Del'Zar, Guardsman Recruit Mela prepared for the disguise lecture, introducing Hoagie as her slightly unwilling assistant (http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/5890/1ce2.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) She outlined the topics to be covered as; name, hair, body, dress, make up and story. She began with story, firstly giving the example of a character she plays when in disguise.... (http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/7578/2ih8.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) …..and then challenging us all to invent a name and story of our own on which Mela questioned each of us rigorously. She made us realise how thoroughly we need to think through our aliases before venturing into hostile territory. (http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/5347/3al3.png) (http://imageshack.us) We then moved onto dress, Mela pointing out how we must ensure our clothes fitted our background story. To illustrate her point Hoagie was “persuaded” to dress as “Lady Samantha”. (http://img373.imageshack.us/img373/701/8dn2.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) Next came make up, much to Hoagies dismay and the delight of everyone else. (http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/364/6fy0.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) Finally Mela described how best to dye hair and in the use of wigs. This time demonstrating on herself.
