Raiden, Senior Grenadier (leading) Vince Valentine, Grenadier Sergeant Joey Lanaii, Dragoon Sergeant Raziel Richter, Officer Cadet Darath Mithar, Officer Cadet Kal ShadowHand, Retired Scout Thomas Sendrich, Regular Dragoon Snudrud, Guardsman Recruit Desmond Krieger, Guardsman Recruit Joined later: Mela, Officer Cadet Kurt, Regular Guardsman Gord Blackwell, Regular Guardsman If i missed anyone please sign below... there were a lot of comings and goings. Three veterans stood before me as the training bell sounded. I'd hoped to be whipping recruits into shape and eventually a couple showed up but it was mainly seasoned guardsmen that stood before me. I went through the obligatory kit check. A recruit lacked a parade arm which was replaced and Joey had no bedroll, claiming he slept on recruits when forced to rough it. I lent him one of my cleaner rolls just in case we run out of recruits! The next stage of the training was fitness. Laps and press ups! A bit of sparring where to our surprise Thomas but down Sergeant Lanaii! Must have been a lucky punch methinks. However Thomas still tried to claim his Sergeant's Armsmaster Trophy. *grins* (http://img104.imageshack.us/img104/1500/uo0051nl5.jpg) (http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/5915/uo0054qw3.jpg) Har! Nothing quite like push ups and men beating eachother to a pulp! I sent the men off to Cove gates and back as a warm down before we started stage three of the training... Healing/Team battles. (http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/8495/uo0056gg7.jpg) Combat training. Hoo Hah! I split the men into teams with an attacking team and a defending team. Things didnt go quite as planned with the defending team overpowering their attackers. The team fighting went better, calling targets and cross healing teammates went well with both sides putting up a good show. To finish off we had a free for all with Joey victorious! *signed* Raiden, Senior Grenadier Title: Re: Raiden's Training Post by: Mela Arkay on September 19, 2006, 02:36:30 am Excellent report Raiden and was an enjoyable free for all. Take note, Joey only won because my knee was hurting.
