Title: Report; Dungeon Covetous. Post by: Rebecca - The Swaggers Inn. on September 24, 2006, 07:34:20 pm Leading; Demarian Tel'var, Regular Grenadier. Attending and Report; Sherri Lanai, Guardsman Recruit. Standing outside the Barracks, Sir Tel'var approched me and asked if I was up for a Patrol with him. Haveing nothing better to do, I agreed and then he decided that we should go to the Dungeon Covetous. Getting closer to the Graveyard, we saw some of the Undeads - Those without a language. We slayed them and some Ogre's, Trolls and headless ones, makeing the forrest more safe for our civillians, before moveing onwards to Covetous. Standing outside, Sir Tel'var asked me to stay alert and close to him, as he feared what my Brother would do, if something happend to me. (I believe he was worried without reason, as I already know, what I got into when signing up.) Tel'var gave a briefing - I should watch out for the floors. Holes with flames comming up, trap's with large blades or pikes, traps with poison that would work it's way through the skin. I followed right behind him and around the first corner, we found a nest filled with harpy's. When we were done, only the smell of the burned nest and harpy corpses were left. ( Now I think about it, it smelled of chicken! - Yum Yum!) (http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/2039/untitledey2.jpg) Moveing deeper inside the Dungeon we found another exit - Not interely a exit, as it just lead into the mountain and then into another level of Covetous. Here we had to hack and wack our way through the cursed plants. After that we found ourself between some creatures called Gazers. Nasty creatures they are, throwing spells at us. They seemed to be very fond of a spell, makeing us either very weak or sick from the poisoning. The Healing were good, Sir Tel'var is fast and well-trained with his bandies. We went deeper inside to the Elder Gazers and I believe, we pushed our luck there. I know he is a Regular Grenadier, but I'm just a Recruit and I'm not sure I was skilled enough going there with him - Or any of the other highed Ranked. I tried my very best with my bandies and I'm sure Tel'var did the same. Unfortunally, we both ended up faceing the dirt, several of times, due theire wytchery. They managed to get Tel'vars shield and my blue bandana, while we was on the ground, searching for our weapons. We tried to get our things back, but after a while we gave up. That task seemed hopeless. We left Covetous and outside we recalled back to Cove for a gold count. After we counted how much we had in total, Tel'var told me to keep it for my effort. Gold gathered = 11.181 I do not plan on keeping it all. I would like to donate 10.000 for the Scouts. *Signed in a fast handwriteing' Sherri Lanai, Guardsman Recruit. Title: Re: Report; Dungeon Covetous. Post by: Vince Valentine on September 25, 2006, 02:00:37 pm Ah yes, that place is no walk in the park. Why I myself once got flanked by a group of the floating spell flingers there, but Covian swagger prevailed! Fine report there Recruit Lanai.
