The Sergeants Summary

Over the past few weeks there has been a number of events that have caught my eye, here are a few of the highlights from the last month.

The Crazed Lawyer

Not too long ago a self proclaimed 'crime lord' and lawyer of the black toe bandits (Or some such name) came to Cove asking for forgiveness for the murder of Hrothgar. Now this man was obviously a crazed old man and was shown away from the barracks more then once.

He had been arrested several times and lashed for wasting our time, but alas this did not stop him, he managed to come back and insult us time and time again before eventually losing his mind completely and throwing himself off the roof.

The man died on impact, and his corpse was thrown into the sea, so much for crime lords.

The Madman at the Meeting

One of the events that seems to stick out in the past month is that of the crazed entry of some local loon at the Northern Alliance meeting in Vesper.

I was asked to sit at the table and speak for Cove upon the Baron and Commanders absense, others to meet here were leaders of their respcted forces of the alliance.

     - Kain Twothumb, the Baron of Vesper
     - Lady Tabbitha, the leader of the Hospitallers
     - Talon, Viper Captain of Kaldor
     - Cal Soulshadow, Commander of Kaldor
     - Anna Maria, local Civilian Rebelian leader

The Minoc campaign was discussed among other things, but alas the most entertaining subject was the madman who burst in out of nowhere wearing nothing but large womens underwear and claiming his clothes were stolen.

The Aim of Sirrus is found

Atlast, after weeks of searching for the first piece of Sirrus armour it is found by none other then Kurt Alimar, a Regular Guardsman aspiring to join the ranks of the Dragoon squad.

The Aim of Sirrus is a piece of armour crafted for Lord Sirrus, an ancient leader of men who was cursed when putting on some enchanted armour, though details can be found Here (http://cove.fantasyworld.nl/forum/index.php/topic,5636.0.html).

The gauntlets were found within a large chest filled with treasures aswell as a set of new riddles presumably for the next armour parts. The riddles are currently undergoing translation and should be ready for everyone to solve in a matter of days now.

Ofcourse, the treasure itself was given to Kurt, as it was his heroics and leadership that allowed us to find this priceless piece of history and bring it to Cove.

The actual use of the gloves are not permitted until another piece of the armour is found and has therefore been put into storage for now, who knows what chaos awaits at the next armour piece location?

The Fall of the Besieger

Another of my favourite highlights is the fall of this Besieger, none other then Sineal Walker, ex-Sergeant of Yew and a leading member of the Besieger division and apparently one of the 'Greatest fighters in all of Yew'.

Ofcourse, it is no surprise he was no match for a well trained Dragoon, which he soon found out after challenging myself at the last battle in Yew.

Poor Yewlanders, will they ever learn?

The Battle at Jhelom

One of the strangest happening this month i'm sure was the alert calling all forces of Britainia to Britain, where we were all transported to the town of Jhelom, more specifically into the heart of the town, the Pit.

There we found a wytch of great power transporting creatures from all over the land into the pit, presumably for his/her entertainment.

Several tained, royalist and rebel forces made theirselves known at this great battle, the largest force ofcourse though was that of Cove who managed to smite many a beast before returning to Cove victorious.

The Great Covian Tournament

The Great Covian Tournament, a series of events held by one Garak Nightchill, a promising Junior Guardsman eager to impress.

Several events were held such as Jousting, Archery and a good old fashioned last man standing. Many Covians showed for the event including several civilians who were there to cheer on their favourite Guardsmen.

The event was a great success, there were trophies handed out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each event, details can be found Here (http://cove.fantasyworld.nl/forum/index.php/topic,6161.0.html).

The Fifteenth Covian Arms-masters Tournament

And ofcourse last but not least, the fifteenth Covian Arms-masters Tournament was held this month, many men enter, but only one is victorious.

The Fifteenth Results were as follows:

New Champion
Joey Lanai, Dragoon Sergeant

Runner-up
Vincent Redfield, Junior Dragoon

Third Place
Kurt Alimar, Regular Guardsman

Congratulations for everyone who entered the Tournament, many new entry's were made to the table of results, find details below.
