All present: Veldrin Ni'harel, Officer Cadet Desmond Krieger, Watchman Gimbly, Regular Grenadier Kal Shadowhand, Regular Scout Olchafa Serpernt, Regular Scout Tiberius, Regular Guardsman Garak Nightchill, Junior Guardsman Nathaniel Boyd, Guardsman Recruit After a Successful patrol to the cemetery, and likewise a successful hunt to Covetous, Veldrin Ni'harel called for us to aid her in the construction and manning of an outpost at the Barracks as the other guardsmen went on a patrol of the Shire. By the time the patrol arrived back the outpost was nearly complete, and with the the extra Guardsmen it thankfully soon was, as walking skeletons were sighted and thought to be heading towards Cove. (http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/9734/barracksoutpostkc1.jpg) As we were preparing our defences the skeletons attacked Kal Shadowhand and knocked him down before we could get out through the doors. Tiberius and Veldrin then managed to knock one skeleton down, and we gave chase to the others, unsuccessfully. Kal Shadowhand was slightly wounded. (http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/4323/kalunderattackfz9.jpg) Veldrin called myself and Desmond back after this, to defend the outpost with her while the others made a more organised search of the woods and managing to knock down another skeleton and chase the rest off with only taking one casualty, Garak Nightchill. After sometime Valdrin felt it safe to send Desmond and I to check that the citizens of Cove had not come under attack from the fiendish undead.
