Mela, Scout Coporal (leading) Hoagie, Officer Cadet Conan Darkmoon, Junior Guardsman Averion, Guardsman Recruit Falconheart, Guardsman Recruit (at least I knew I was there) Well erm actually a large portion of the Baron's army took part in this quest. As I was busy trying to figure out how to paint and at the same time fire my bow (nay easy one handed) I couldnt recall exactly who took part in this quest. And the paintings nay turned out well. Ye must probably use a magnifying glass to look at them. But nevertheless this be our story................... On Friday October 6 a large group of the Covian Army went out for a mission to locate and eventually rescue Kal. The only evidence we had was a mysterios book of an unknown author making demands for his safe return. After we lined up in front of the Barracks, Mela the leader explained to us the urgenty of this mission. We started out with a force march to the minoc gate where we made our first encounter. We came across a loyalist brigand who refused to move out of our way after we tried to "persuade" him or her (couldnt remember the gender) to do so. As we had other more important business in mind we eventually just ignored this loyalist outcast. Into the gate we teleported in the realm Ilshenar through the moongate of Compassion. We traveled many miles on foot through the wilderness of this strange realm before we entered what looked like a cave. Outside the cave we ran into a band of renegade brigands who obviously lived many years in this wilderness without civilization. They appeared like savages. We where immediately attacked from all sides. The sounds of magic spells and clashing weopons mingled with the battle cries of the combatants. We fought back the first wave with ease but just as we thought that it was over another wave of these savages appeared double in numbers. After hours of fierce fighting we prevailed again. After crossing a swamp we wandered through an almost treeless land and came upon a fortress made of wood of unknown origin which seemeds to be a settlement of these savages From a distance we noticed a lone savage standing there. As we approached we expected him to flee, considering our numbers .Surprislingly he just stood there. We immediately took him into our custody and begann interrogating him. Like all of his kin he was doning a very disgusting mask. We commanded him to take off the accursed mask. He still did not say a word! Then we utilized more forcitive measures by snatching of his mask. And the entire assembly of Covians stood in shock as they recognized the man standing in front of them. It was Kal Shadowhand himself!. My paintings was even worse after this shock! We approached him but he immediatley attacked us again and was speaking a guttural type of language know one really understood. Not even Hoagie understood it! Kal seemed to have lost his memory. We escorted him back to the barracks hoping a familiar sight might help regain his memory. After Kal for his own protection was put into one of our prison cells, Mela dismissed us. After that we stood by the barracks doing nothing particular we hear a loud noise from inside the prison cell. We immediately ran inside. And we saw Kal with bloodshot eyes hovering over Mela who seemed to be unconscious. And Kal himself was babbling this guttural language. Then he was escorted again to his own house. From there on I nay know what happened The mission begins........
