Title: Strange Goings On In Deceit Post by: Raiden Morana on January 20, 2007, 01:26:44 pm Attended by: Hrothgar, Corporal (leading) Hoagie, Captain Raiden, Grenadier Corporal Gimbly, Regular Grenadier Kal ShadowHand, Regular Scout (left part way through) Flina Trix, Junior Dragoon (joined part way through) Falconheart, Watchman Celeste, Guardsman Recruit Scott Bradbecca, Guardsman Recruit Hrothgar lined us outside the barracks after Mela's training and told us the old tale of the Black Wizard. It seems it has been rumoured that the evil cleric has found shelter in the dungeon Deceit, so without further a do, Guardsman Recruit Bradbecca opened a portal and we were on our way. We made our way through the dungeon hacking and bashing the deadites as we went. Hrothgar had warned us that the Black Wizard might try to get into our heads once he had sensed our presence and sure enough I was overcome by darkness and felt myself choking... Try as i might i could not get my wind... I ripped off my helm and flailed about in panic as i felt my life force slipping away. Corporal Hrothgar had to take some drastic action to break the spell i was under, so he smashed me full in the face with the butt of his axe. Good old Hroth', got a cure for everything *shifty eyes*. Now that i had recovered my wits we proceeded through the dungeon joined now by Junior Dragoon Trixy Flix. Deeper and deeper into the dark depths we went punishing the undead as we went. We slew them quickly but as we caught our breath Flina seemed to become a little withdrawn. Her mentor Hoagie tried to bring her round but she lashed out and it took a few of us to restrain her and get her out of the room. (http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/8528/uo06187in.jpg) Flina... No put the mace down lass... Flina... Noooooo! The poor lass was surely under the evil influence of the Black Wizard as i had been earlier. Even outside the room she was not herself. The Wizard's influence growing Hrothgar thought it best that we get Flina back to the healers in Cove so the Recruit mage opened us up a portal and we stepped out into Cove town. Hoagie and i tried to console Flina and see if she was alright but it seemed now that Recruit Bradbecca may have been under a spell... Or was he just being cheeky? After a brief chase around Cove town we managed to restrain him and i think he spent the night in the cells. Swagger, demonic posession and death and destruction...
