Title: Kelly's Hunt to Destard Post by: Marcus / Straeban on February 08, 2007, 07:41:38 pm As I made my way to the Barracks to report for duty I knoticed a line up so I quickly joind before getting told to. Kelly then begain to explain what we were to do and we formed a Tactical. A few moments later we were set out for the place Called Destard. Once there we then lined up again to prepair for the fun.

We drew our bows and release all at the same time, each bolt striking its mark, and the dragon slowly dieing from the blood loss it had we finally took it down. (http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/993/uo0002di1.jpg) After it fell we cut it open to see what kind of coins it had tried to diggest from its last victoms, and found that it indeed carried some coins and quite a few at that. We then move forwards to our next target and took it down as we did the other two. (http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/1892/uo0003dw1.jpg) It seemed like the further we went the more that we saw. We came upon a small watering hole that they drink from and got hammered from all sides. We fought and fought and fought on till at the end we were the only ones standing in the middle of them all. (http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/3531/uo0004ul6.jpg) Ahh! yes it was a slaughter, The Coveian archers were not to be out done by some too bit giant four legged lizards. We collected the coins and pressed on. And again we had them coming from both sides We made out stand back to back so that no one got knocked back so easily and fired away. Soon after there was no more noise coming from the ones that surrounded us we then quickly collected their coins before more came up. (http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/305/uo0005pe4.jpg) Not more than 10 steps away from the last group of Dragons we took down more did infact come up with the evil look of hunger in their eyes. We then took a deep breath and let loose a volley of bolts as fast as we could muster. Arms getting tired we could not fault here fir it would surely mean we would not get to go home afterwards. Hard and steady, Fast but accurratly as we could, we fought on for they will never know what the Coveiand blood would taste like this day. (http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/303/uo0006ie5.jpg) After this was over we then desided to return to Cove so not to press our luck here, we then headed out to the entrance, but luck was not with us at that moment. Five more Dragons thought that they seen enough of us for one day and desided that they too would try to have us for a meal. NOT HAPPENING! we said that we were going to get out of this place with all who came and by god we did just that. One after another they fell like giant flyes, till we were the only ones standing. We got to the Barracks and placed all the collected coins down, Kelly then handed oput our share of the Bounty, Everyone that went had a 4000 coin payment.
