Title: Anounced absence Week 8 to week 13 Post by: Delcarakdur on February 15, 2007, 04:16:03 pm Yes, that's right, I'll be mostly gone from week 8 and onto week 13. This is due to two learning modules for the officer cadets in the army as well as a two week NATO exercise.

You thinking of lire, the obsolete Italian currency? Pound is £ and only used in the U.K. Yen is Japanese. And Norway's not a member of the European Union, so Euro's just ain't happening. Norway uses crowns, or krone in Norwegian. The exchange ratio is about 6 crowns to a dollar, but Delc did give you it in dollars, I presume, seen as he added the dollar symbol.

What I get paid for staying home as a sergeant is nothing compared to what a sergeant would get in an Int Ops (International Operations) mission. Besides I get a lot more than many other sergeants, plainly because I will spend a lot of time on exercise and also doing late hours work. That pays extra well.
