Post by: Assamaril on February 28, 2007, 01:59:01 pm
Hello everybody *smile*,

I want to introduce myself as Assamaril! And I want to regard Qom who has taken my hand to go my first steps to Cove *smile*. He was very kind to explain me a lot patiently.

Alright. I try if I can be a part of your community if you want to accept me. I hope so and I hope you can stand me.

Ok - who is Assamaril?
English is not my mother's tounge, but I hope I did this story readable!

Hey, welcome to Cove! English isn't my mother tongue either. I just try my best, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. :)

Nice story by the way!

Have a great time with us!!
(as we will with you ;) )

I just try my best, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. :)

When I attempt to read my own writings in English after couple of weeks, sometimes I find it hard understand myself...

I agree totally! I wish someone would tell me what I do wrong, or how I could improve texts really. Like an official text nazi/care-bear! :P

That's me!

Welcome to Cove! It might be handy to know that the average life expectancy of a recruit is 20 minutes!

And that's on a good day!

Heh, Khae, remember that time we made that recruit go into the orc fort nekkid and have him attempt to slay an orc brute singlehandedly. Heh, never knew brutes could toss severed limbs that far! Anyway, welcome aboard!

As you can see, Assamaril, ANY discussion leads to babble about one of below topics:
 - politics
 - "My country is better than yours"
 - cash
 - jokes
 - sex
 - anything; the more off-topic, the better.

Welcome :)

Usually when you see the number of replies to a topic, approx 60% is pure babble.
Of course I'm very active in posting such messages ;D

and if all else fails... sease English all together and make us punks get a translator.. or maybe actually learn somehting new???  www.freetranslation.com does decent work, helped me get perfect marks on a French assignment for like 3rd year of highschool (secondary school)

Well - how to say.
Somehow my fate is against this guild. It looks like.
First I created Assamaril. But obviously the game sees an ass in that name and blocks. Assamaril ist a important nick for me, I have some problems to take another one. So I created A'ssamaril. Uh, looks like typing mistake *smile*. Anyway I accepted that.
A'ssamaril arrived in Cove at the port last Thurstday. And if you talk about role-playing - exactly that happened then:

A'ssamaril looked around for very long time, met a few Covians visited the church - no priest. Visited the tavern - no waitress - visited the town hall - no officer. Infact A'ssamaril arrived in a very empty city she stayed there for a few hours real time.
Then I thought about what she would do. A'ssamaril would leave this place walk along the way with the hope to arrive another city. And so she did. And that was the end of her Cove-story.

Its my fault. I didnt plan well the arrival. I should have ask you before what the best time is for a refugee to arrive in Cove.

I failt to get into your community. Sorry for that!

Assamaril

It's not hard to join. What you do is talk to someone in the guild. Ask them to help them to get into the guild. Get tested. Get guilded. See when people are online. Log in. Have fun.

Piece of cake.

Yea, ghost town eh? It happens, there are dead zones. might want to post your timezone. And did ye say faild? Nay! Wander around the woods for a "few days" like I did lol, jsut kept popping in screaming about trolls and eventually bumped into some dood in the bushes.

is never too alte for anyone to "arrive" in Cove
