IT & Marketing (with a lot of admin thrown in) - It just means I get all the crappy phonecalls no-one else wants to take! My first job was as a plasterer's labourer, then I worked for a property surveyors then I started out as a delivery driver at the company i work for now and worked my way up. :P Title: Re: What is your RL profession? Post by: Garak Nightchill on March 21, 2007, 11:38:36 pm I work for Strathclyde Police as a Force Support Officer (civilian administrator) where I deal with crime reports, warrants, missing person reports and domestic/racist/homophobic reports. I've also just started as a Special Constable (basically a part-time volunteer police officer). If I like it I may apply to join as a regular cop next year.

Post by: Moraine DiGoraz on March 22, 2007, 09:41:38 am Well... before I've worked a salesman, butcher, pastry chef, lab analist, quality control guy, forklift driver (the 20t kind), coolant technician, mail delivery guy, telemarketeer, electrician, dishwasher (yeah) and I've done about a dozen different warehouse jobs. With that I've had training or minor education in sales techniques, warehouse management, graphic design, psychology, first aid & a 20t forklift certificate.
Today I am starting at a new job at another warehouse as distribution specialist (basicly that means I oversee and handle the shipping of goods to other warehouses). Basically if the job seems fun, the pay is right and no diplomas are required then I'm game. Usually after a few months I move on looking for something new. Title: Re: What is your RL profession? I'm An E-3 also refered ta as a Seaman by the Navy. Took the test for E-4 Refered to as Petty Officer 3rd Class by the Navy. I am a Navy StoreKeeper and hold the position of Store Room Clerk. I ship, receive, Inventory, issue, and recieve supplies and vital mission eccential parts to keep my squardon running and capable of supporting its missions which include, a shift from logistics support to armed helo operations in extended maritime operations to control drug traficing and other such crime aswell as being the only Search And Rescure (SAR) capable unit on the island of Guam.
