Title: Perun's Parade Drill
Post by: Samuel West on April 04, 2007, 05:56:00 pm
Leader: Perun, Junior Scout

Attended: Hoagie, Dragoon Sergeant
                 Thomas Sendrich, Regular Dragoon
                 Flina Trix, Junior Dragoon
                 Amy, Watchman
                 Duvort Stein, Recruit

As the Drill standereds were... not so good... Junior Perun set about training us in the ways of formation movement.
Because one of the lesser guardsman, a watchman i think, had left their oven on and because there was some doubt in Perun's small mind that Dragoons could not use their legs, he had us doing laps for the first part of the session, in full armour, but being dragoons, the best of cove, this was no difficulty.

After that we moved onto basic line drill. Turns and Numbering off. There was a little confusion about sound off, and it took Hoagie a while to count to two, but that was soon solved. The turnings in line went perfectly.

We then went on to do some fancy parade weapon drill, which then lead into battle formations. These went well seeing as all covian guardsman are experts at war. However during this part of the session Junior Perun's small brain must have been damaged as he ordered us to attack him... We were not told why, and off course he did not last long.

After Junior Perun recovered from his attack we went through saluting drills and were finally dismissed.

Well done on filing the report so quickly Regular Sendrich.

It seems that your small brain not only thought your name was One! when ordered to Sound Off... It can not tell the difference between a male and female Scout!

*Scowls*

No wonder Dragoons spend so much time with their horses! *snorts*

Well done to those who attended... The Target! & Charge! Orders were carried out remarkably well.

Perun, Junior Scout.
