Vince Valentine, Grenadier Sergeant (Leading) Raiden Morana, Grenadier Sergeant Hoagie, Dragoon Sergeant Dalamar, Regular Scout John Dell, Junior Guardsman Flina Trix, Junior Dragoon Andrew, Guardsman Recruit Celuvian Happ, Guardsman Recruit Mald, Guardsman Recruit FarFar, Commoner Our mission this eve was to navigate our way through the woods of compassion, into the abandoned hostel that once offered shelter to wary travellers. These days, all that it offers is a grim death for the unprepared. Lurking within the walls, a beast of foul breeding, oozing poison with a hunger that could never be satisfied. A hunger for human flesh... We were to retrieve the brain of this beast, the first ingredient of a foul list that will enable us to translate the book found in the liches lair a few nights past. We made our way through the woods of compassion with some difficulty, with a number of our party getting lost within the twisty paths. Hoagie went missing, so Flina went to find him. Hoagie returned, and so someone else went to find Flina. I could see a pattern forming, so we pressed on before I was stood there alone. Luckily we managed to reform at the bride just before the hostel itself. We pressed on, entering the gates, attacked as soon as we trod upon the foul ground. Suddenly, we saw it.... (http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/3318/rcnc7.jpg) We're behind you.....*Stabs!* We had the jump on the green sod! We wasted no time in attacking at full force, and overpowering the little sod. They call these beasts 'Rotting Corpses', and now indeed, he was a corpse, rotting in the baking sun. Harr! We had gotten what we had come for, but a covian always gives one hundred and ten percent, so we cleared the entire building, taking down all manner of nasty creature as we went. A job well done, we headed home, for the all important dismissal and indeed fair payment to the guardsmen for they're outstanding work.
