There is a graveyard fairly close to Covian lands that requires the occasionally "cleaning out" to keep the undead population in check. On the afternoon of 4.14.05 Watchman Valiro lead the recruits Vlad, Fabian and Kate on a standard patrol of the graveyard. Since the strange happenings in the woods around Cove, Valiro, hoping to avoid an incident, took the recruits on a slightly longer march around the dark woods, rather than straight through. Thanks to the detour no one went insane, or got their mind addled. As the patrol neared the graveyard the Watchman ordered the recruits to wait while he scouted ahead to see what they were getting in to. (http://home.graffiti.net/lady_casa/ReportPic1.JPG) The patrol more or less caught the undead un aware but there was still some momentary confusion by the gates as the recruits scrambled into a battle stance. While several of the recruits wanted to rush the attacking undead Watchman Valiro wisely kept them in a tight formation. (http://home.graffiti.net/lady_casa/ReportPic2.JPG) Wraths, zombies and liches alike were beat back by the patrol. Though it's not a glorious hunt, and the undead are not overly dangerous if approached with a group, a necessary task was completed, and the recruits got some good field time and much needed practice following orders.
