Title: Naval Gunnery School [Report]
Post by: Arma Renox on July 24, 2007, 05:27:09 pm
Gunnery School - Thursday 19th July 2007

In attendance;

Arma Renox, Commodore
Raiden Morana, Grenadier Sergeant
Lara Stevens, Citizen (currently Recruit)

In the absence of brave, hardy and disciplined guardsman, it fell to myself and Sergeant Morana to drill and practice the fine art of gunnery and explosives handling.

Being a finely trained Grenadier, I gave Raiden the use of his own "ship".

We made use of light explosives, so as not to smash the dock or the flagship to smithereens! Raiden was joined by an oddly keen citizen, Lara Stevens, who manned the second "cannon".
(I later suggested she become a guardsmen, and so I believe my fine training is to be thanked for her entry into the army! Harr!)

They both showed a fine display of targeting and firing, but the test was not over!

Finally, they were asked to prove their ability to make use of nearby materials to defend themselves! Posing as an "enemy vessel", I fired upon them as they used cargo crates and whatever materials available onboard their "vessel", to protect themselves.

Excellent work both; Lara, we'll make a Marine out of you yet!

Signed,

Arma Renox
Commodore
