Welcome to Cove

Following Miss Axiana's market of wares from Makoto, it was time to begin the rehearsal for Sunday's play, "Ezmerelda", penned by our very own Miss Zoie Hayden. I arrived early to find Zoie still writing, but we soon other actors arrived and a guest we certainly were not expecting; our liege, the Baron, had come to watch the proceedings. As more of the players arrived, as well as a sizeable crowd of people coming to watch - at least a dozen or so people were present - it became apparent that the script had not quite been finished and was having the final touches put on it by Miss Hayden.

In the intermittent time various members, whether acting in the actual play or not, took to the stage in a variety of fetching gear including pink hats, much to the amusement and witty comments from our liege. Luckily Miss Hayden finished writing the play in time and I hastily made copies of all the scripts to to give to the main performers. We then went a quick runthrough of a couple of scenes; one as Trina Flix as the female lead, Ezmerelda, along with Desmond Krieger as a Lord. Unfortunately Mister Krieger seemed to have consumed some sake and misunderstimated its strength.

Despite some initial hiccups - both in the metaphorical sense and, in Krieger's case, more literally - rehearsals are coming along smoothly and the play will be ready for sunday.
