Title: Question on Winter Gear Post by: Perrin on September 12, 2007, 07:59:06 am Is it acceptable to wear a fur cape or cloak outdoors while there is snow on the ground in-game?
Title: Re: Question on Winter Gear Post by: qom_riyadh on September 12, 2007, 08:04:04 am Try some booze instead to warm-up, works even better.
Good idea, if you'd ask me. Title: Re: Question on Winter Gear Post by: Raiden Morana on September 12, 2007, 08:25:38 am The army usually places an order with Cove's tailors coming up to Christmas time for cloaks/fur capes to keep the guards warm as we RP the seasons.
But as a rule winter clothing isn't worn in say ice dungeon or other snowy climes... Then again Raiden IS a big 'ard Grenadier ;) Title: Re: Question on Winter Gear Post by: Perrin on September 12, 2007, 08:50:27 am Was last year the first time they added snow to the landscape? I wasn't around the year before that.
Title: Re: Question on Winter Gear Post by: qom_riyadh on September 12, 2007, 09:00:10 am Yes, we all changed house grass tiles to snow, when they whitened out whole landscape :)
(Which is a major spoil, because the winter lasting approx. 3 RL months makes Sosaria enter a small "ice age" for over 15 game months [23rd Dec 2007 - 21st Mar 2008 = 67th 8 365 - 52th 11 366]) Speaking this, the thread has been oficially derailed by The Horrible Little Man Title: Re: Question on Winter Gear Post by: Hoagie on September 12, 2007, 04:03:14 pm You 'orrible little man, Qom.
And yes, last year was the first time they added snow, I believe. :) |
