Title: The new UO boss..
Post by: Khaelieth on September 28, 2007, 05:00:17 pm
With seven retail expansions under its belt, not to mention countless free updates (such as Kingdom Reborn), UO has shown no signs of slowing down either in popularity from its players or in continued support from EA and its development team.
Excuse me?

Lollipops ! ::)

I was reading the Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultima_online) article on UO yesterday and I agree with the realistic opinion of KR and that one of the plus points of the game is that it caters to a "niche market as an MMORPG that can be run on lower-end computers." The showing "no signs of slowing down either in popularity from its players" is a bit over the top though, not terribly convinced by the "continued support" neither !

Still, the naming of a cow to Corey Johns after feeding it 9,999 times is new to me, Khae I think you should get to work on that. ;D

*Slaps Floria*

I long ago took an oath to slap anyone and everyone who drudges up that rubbish as a guide on subscriptions. That website is based entirely on conjecture =) We dont know the true UO numbers, and probably never will because EA doesnt want anyone to know how badly its doing. At the very least it ight affect their stocks, which they arent going to risk just to appease us.

UO is doing well enough to keep the RP community going so lets no worry about it.
