Welcome to Cove

Raiden stepped from the barracks steps.

"Where's the Duty Officer?" He muttered. "Where's the guard?"

"Bugger it. If yer want summat doin' do it yerself."

Staff in hand the Grenadier Captain strode forcefully forward, humming a tune, his mission... To keep Cove safe.

The weather was turning chill as he trudged through the Shire. He headed towards the east road and the Altmere. The area was free from brigands and ogres, though one headless fiend was despatched with little fuss.

Raiden nodded firmly, happy that the outpost was secure, before turning on his heel to head back through the Shire to Cove town. An ogre stalked the orchards and watch tower but it stood little chance against the veteran Grenadier.


Just as Raiden left the town gates he heard the all too familiar cries of angry orcs. He unslung the shield from his back and slammed on his helm. Breaking into a run her turned the corner to head into the Glenmores. However he was met by an orc champion and a few of it's followers that had strayed far from the fort.

Slash, hack, cut, thrust and the stinking orcs lay slain.

"For Cove!!!"

Cove now safe and a thirst worked up Raiden pondered a trip to Trinsic and another aqdventure...?
