Early in the after noon of 4.22.05. The following recruits were organized by Jr. Grenadier Ryan Greystone, and Watchman Valiro to stand watch at Cove gate. *Bengard *Calico Kate *Derek Battail *Kendor *Vlad Bengard and Kate were assigned to gather hides for the while the others were quickly and efficiently schooled by Watchman Valiro on the proper way to construct a guard post. After most of the work was done Grenadier Greystone showed up to help supervise the recruits. (http://home.graffiti.net/lady_casa/Report3Pic1.gif) Not long after the guard post was readied and the recruits under stood their duties the afternoon traffic in and out of Cove began to pick up. The books show that one Keglanek, came into Cover for provisions, left to go try his hand at orc slaying, and the returned to beg the guards aids. Grenadier Greystone lead Bengard, Derek Battail and Kendor to assist the poor terrified citizen. While they were busy pushing the orcs back to their fort the governor of Altmere, Antonius Proximo, breezed through on his way to the bank. Presumably with a fat bag of tax money for his coffers. He was fortunate to have left when he did for shortly there after a very rude knight dressed in blue armor lead a small horde of miscreants crashing through the walls of the fort. The temporary chaos that had ensued as a result, greeted the guardsmen returning from the orc fort. Fortunately the records were saved and after every thing was set to rights once more citizen Ellis Elfwood stopped in to see if the guards would care for some snacks.
