The Officer Cadetship Scheme has been re-opened!

We are opening up positions for a select few who have what it takes to make it on the Command Team. That's right.. The opportunity for YOU to join the Leadership of the Baronship Of Cove.

In the past the Officer Cadetship scheme has only been open to those who have reached a rank equivalent to Junior Guardsman but we are opening the scheme up to applications from anyone irrespective of rank.

Officer Cadetship

Officer Cadetship comprises of two phases.

Phase One: Application
Phase Two: Upon a successful application a Trial Period (1-3 months) on the Command Team.

During the trial period the Cadet has the opportunity to display their skills and decide whether a life in Command is for them. If the trial is successful the Cadet will be promoted to Corporal or a suitable civilian title.

What We're Looking For

There are certain standards we're looking for in potential Command members, so please consider these before submitting your application. We're looking for players that:

* Are active in game and are able to organize events on a regular basis. (As a command member you will be required to organize several events a week.)
* Are interested in creating and developing new ideas, as well as taking part in discussion on the BoC GM board.
* Have good OOC interpersonal skills and can easily deal with difficult situations, as well as get on with others and let go of personal bias.
* Act in a mature and sensible manner, setting an example to the rest of the guild.
* Are motivated and committed towards driving BoC forward.
* Wish to create fun for themselves and others!

Applying

If you're interested in applying for Officer Cadetship, send a PM via the Baronship Boards to me, Raiden, and in this PM state:

* Character name.
* Rough estimate of your time within BoC.
* Active times.
* Why you want to join command.
* What are your strong/weak points, and what ideas/skills will you bring to the BoC command team.
* Any other factors why you should be considered for Cadetship.

Command isn't for everyone. Please consider carefully before applying. It's a lot of work and requires incredible commitment, so think carefully about your current RL lifestyle, and that which shall be approaching in the next few months. If you don't think you'll have time, the likelihood is.. you won't.

However, if you DO have the time, there are considerable triumphs to be achieved, and throughout your Cadetship you will receive sound advice and support from the existing Covian Command Team.
