Hello all, Following the Baronship of Cove's cessation of business and the general Europan return to slumber, several of us have made a home with The Blackstone Company.

The Blackstone Company is a mercenary guild on the Outlands Ultima Online free server. We are a group of fighters in search of fortune and glory against all odds and all opposition. The character that will fit in best is a thrill-seeking adventurer with dollar signs for eyes, but there is room for all comers. Covians,
It is a new year, and with the new year comes the traditional time for life changes and new beginnings.
Over the months since April 2018, we have had some great times together and events which rivalled the days of old. I'm sure everyone involved will always treasure those memories. However, the current command team lacks the time and energy to keep pushing Cove forward in the face of a slowly shrinking community and the mechanics of a game increasingly at odds with the ideals that the Baronship of Cove has always held dear.
It is with regret that we announce that the Baronship of Cove is no longer officially "in business". We are keeping an account with the guild master title open in order to take care of the stone and deal with any problems as they arise, but there will be no official events or stewardship from Command team members.
We ask that you continue to follow the RoE while logged into characters that remain on the stone out of respect for the standards that the Baronship has always upheld and the remaining members of the community. At least a few of us will continue to be accessible on Discord if there are any problems.
Thank you all for your involvement over the past year. We hope that you continue to have great adventures, wherever they might be. Who knows? Perhaps we'll be back in 2025.

Friends,
Since the late Serj Eason's funeral, I have been full of thoughts of my own mortality. I was deeply moved by Eason's eulogy, and I thought it wise to pen a few words of my own to be spoken in the event of my untimely demise. Please keep this letter safe.

Do you really think that this wasn't part of my plan? Even as you stood over my bloodied corpse, the pieces were set in motion to assure your downfall.

To all, My absence was the result of a nefarious plot by unknown parties. Clues: * Suspected to operate in or around Yew. * Knowledge of the workings of the Yewish militia. * Yewish accent (possibly fake?). * Comfortable in dark places. Anyone who provides information leading to their death or capture will be rewarded with 5,000 coins.
Anyone who brings me the bodies of the perpetrators (with proof that they were responsible) will be rewarded with 25,000 coins.
Anyone who brings in the perpetrators, alive will be rewarded with 40,000 coins. |

Dear Covians,
I'm off on holiday from tomorrow until the 19th November. It's always tough to keep activity going at this time of year, never more so than in the year 2018 when player populations are down across the board. I would ask you all to be patient with the current command team as we navigate the waters of various RL obligations and other projects.
Activity is down, but Cove has not been forgotten. In fact, there's plenty in the works to be excited about.
So with that said, don't let the place burn down while I'm away!
Keep on Covin'.

We have conquered the sunny shores of NuJel'm, and other than using it to economically strangle Vesper, as well as our massive profits from sea trade, we've barely gotten any use of it!
Lead a detachment of at least three others to NuJel'm and scope out the best beaches and bars for relaxing and partying.
Extra credit to those who get a nice tan.
