Guild Chat is not, I repeat not for general usage.

The level of GC during last night's events was totally unacceptable. Guild chat is primarily an aid for Command members to co-ordinate events or for guild members to enquire what events are taking place.

It is not an open forum to air your views or a vehicle to hold conversation with guildmates. It is off-putting to those trying to host events and spoils the enjoyment of members who are participating.

Just to clarify, Guild Chat may be used for the following:

Command Announcements
Event Announcements
Event Clarifications
(I.E. If you are hosting a game of some sort you can clarify the rules through guild chat)
Questions regarding the location of everyone online.

If you need to go OOC during events use the party system. If you must chat or conduct petty squabbles use ICQ or MSN etc.

Persistant abuse of the Guild Chat facility could lead to demotion or even removal from the guild.

Thanks,

Raiden.
