It's a good idea, and certainly a good report but at current, exotic pets and mounts are forbidden within cove regardless of their use; even if it is a portable forge to help our crafters.

I can't see our stance on this changing as a low-fantasy guild.

The fact of the matter is, RP craftsmen have lasted for years without anything other than pack horses, and in certain guilds, recall and gate-travel (or bags of sending, or bonded auto-teleport pack horses), and will most likely continue to do so.

Less funky Tokuno customisation in Britannia and I'd be inclined to agree, but bamboo and plywood doesn't look too classy in it's surroundings!

In certain situations you needn't attempt to do things; such as if a character is inprisoned and restrained (thus unable to fend or flee), or if your character has a height/strength advantage; a guard over an unsuspecting civilian etc.

With regards to wounding that would leave a mark on a character, always ask for their consent via party before performing an action that will force them to alter the role-play of their character.

And finally the only people with the ability to permanently kill off a character are the relevant higher authorities within each individual guild; most usually when rule-breaking has been so severe that the character is no longer permitted to remain within the guild. In our case, this is Command and with their say so; the Church.

Don't think anything legally based would be a good idea. First and foremost we don't have any laywers as a direct result of not really having many trials.

The plot should be put to a more permanent use.

The skill itself is not banned, but both hiding and detect hidden recieve unexplainable bonuses within houses; the success rate with both is 100% in buildings you are friended to.

Seconded Kelly on this one; ever since Guild Chat made an appearance in UO it's been used by RP guilds to (realistically) signal rallies and calls-to-arms.

As always however, please do not abuse this system and consider the circumstances before use; especially if you're under threat of someone and need help.

Just as you wouldn't send out ICQ's going "amagad helpz!" whilst you have a knife to your throat, you also wouldn't be practicing your bell-ringing!

Other than that, only use it when necessary; the more things get used, the more they blend into the background.

Try to use it for events and call-to-arms only; not for when you want someone to talk to, or to drink with!

Bingo! Patching only updates your server files and allows you to play online with others; all artwork and graphics are, however, held on their respective disks. So, have fun seeing coloured animals for Ilshenar+Malas+Tokuno+Legacy monsters!
