Ludwik picks up his old spy log and brushes the dust off. It had been a long time since he was last actively using it. The years he and Fredrik had spent looking for their brother Erik was wasted. All for nothing. Erik was lost, either dead or perhaps he did get dragged into the underworld as some of the rumours suggested.

Back to Cove it was and he needed to move on and get back to what he loved. In the shadows, Ludwik will be watching, time to revive this log.

What would your own album look like if you were in a band? Follow the directions below and find out like I did

Here are the rules:

1 - Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random

The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Quotations Page and select "random quotations"
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3

The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days

Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.

Here is what I got

Have a go!

I think the worst bit is when you get frozen, they sit back, have a sip of coke and then 5 mages flamestrike you. There is no comeback from that.

I was pissed off because frankly, it just was not fun. If games stop being fun they stop getting played. I have better things to do than stand around for 20 minutes, go into battle for 1 minute and then repeat all night.
12  In Character Boards / In Character Board / Report: Poison Licence (Task) on: March 15, 2009, 09:55:41 am
Ever since I joined Cove, all those months ago, it was my aim to become a licenced user, to aid me in combat. After joining the Scouts before just before they disbanded I was unable to get the chance to learn, now I have the opportunity to make my dream come true.

Report: Poison Licence

Part One - The Poison

1) Head out to a City Library to read up on the art and manufacture of poisons.

Libraries are not really a place I often go, but I heard of one being in Britain, so I headed out and looked around to see if I could find the correct building, after a little while I stumbled upon it and began my search for details of poison. Having dealt with poison before I did already know of the use of nightshade but the books provided more details to further expand my knowledge and it made it clear that poison was not to be taken lightly, it was possible that after prolonged use it could cause my beautiful blond locks to fall out.

After reading through many of the books i found I decided that this step was complete and I should head out to find Petrus.

2) Seek out Petrus the Beekeeper in the lands east of Compassion Moongate. He will give you important advice as to the use of poison by animals.

Now this fella is east of the Compassion Moongate eh? Well I looked around for a long time finding this Petrus and he seemed to be rather elusive until i finally stumbled upon him through a narrow mountain pass. I was a little confused as he did not appear to have any beehives near him, so where he kept his bees I am not sure!

Anyway we talked about the use of animal poisons and spoke of these speckled scorpions which holds little sacs of poison inside them which they used to sting and infect their victims with. It would seem the key to killed them was to hit them fast so they did not have the chance to poison you. After a small task we said out goodbyes and I headed out to the next part of the task

3) Travel southwest to the sandy region. Here you will find speckled scorpions, which carry a potent poison in their stings. Kill these, and recover two poison sacks. These are the ones I want you to bring me.

I sped across to the sandy region only to decide to start to sneak as a approached the bridge and the soft moans of undead slowly grew louder. after crossing two bridges I found the sandy zone and an awful amount of creatures including those speckled scorpions that contained the ingredient i required. I hit them hard and fast, although they did managed to give me a dose of poison once or twice, my quick healing enabled me to overcome many of the beasts along with the other beasts that roamed around the similar area and recoved the poison sacs as required.

It seemed vital that the poison from these sacs be applied quickly before they became useless. After slaying a few more for good measure I headed back to Cove happier for the knowledge I had gained and ready to complete the final stage of the licence task

Part Two - The Cure

4) Poison cures are mostly made from Garlic. Head to Cove graveyard and slay the spirits within for magical reagents until you have 30 garlic.

The Cove graveyard is a place i know well, having visited it dozens of times already. So I headed their to slay the undead and they seemed to be there in abundance. They came at me with a fierce moaning that took me by surprise, although I managed to regain my focus and began to make my way through the waves of undead creatures.

A Lich suddenly made himself known with a big group of followers, looking like they wanted me to join their undead gang. They seemed to be overpowering me so I thought it would be wise to get rid of their home advantage and headed out to the woods so I could use my pathfinding knowledge to tip the balance in my favour, it worked perfectly as I used to trees to my advantage to sneaked around chopping them down until it was just myself and the strong lich left. I crept up behind and hacked at him with my axe until eventually he fell. I searched through their bodies and eventually found the 30 garlic cloves that I required to complete all the tasks for this Poison Licence

I hope this proves my knowledge and desire to use poison and my licence will be granted

13  Element boards / Completed Citizen Tasks / Skilled Tinker Required! on: March 10, 2009, 06:16:42 pm
I love my axe but as a company pathfinder, it is sometimes required that I have a more...subtle weapon to use. That is why I require the most skilled of tinkers to make me a Cleaver! Not just any old Cleaver though, it needs to be the most top quality item. One in Shadow Iron and another made from Verite.

Please contact me when the items are completed and you shall be rewarded with 1000 gold coins per item, plus whatever shillings the command feel you deserve.

Your assistance will be much appreciated.

Yesterday cove had a visit from a man from Haven, he wanted to talk with the Commander but as he was not around he decided to wait for him in the Goblin. I quickly sneaked in before he got there and located a comfortable hiding spot to listen to what information he had.

The crux of the problem was Yew, it appears they have completed a hostile take over of Haven and are refusing to budge, they are causing quite a disturbance in the area and the normal residents are not happy. It was suggested that ourselves and Vesper would be able to assist them in the situation. Some loud mouth commoner then arrived and was talking about explosions, at which point I got a little bored and decided to slowly make my way out.

Yew in Haven? Perhaps I should take a look at how big the problem actually is.

This book has gathered a lot of dust over the last months, I have not really needed to note down much, however, this has now changed.

I just recently witnessed some strange goings on in our prison, some elf recruit appeared to be looking after some brown robbed prisoner, he then left him and after walking up to checkhis exit I returned to find that the prisoner had disappeared.

More findings to report later
