Patrol of Compassion Desert - 8pm, Saturday 10th November 2018Third patrol complete! In AttendanceSerj Eason, Watchman (Squad Leader) Raiden Morana, Captain Ilyana Drachen, Senior Arcanist Tyrael Styx, Junior Grenadier Patrol Notes* Prior to entering the desert we briefly discussed the whereabouts of Commander Hoagie Grayner. We came to the conclusion he has fallen victim to an under-cooked pie! * The heat was unbearable! * We dispatched countless numbers of scorpions and elementals. * We happened upon some sort of 'sphinx' creature who gave out riddles.. As we didn't have enough of those at Sergeant Sanderson's Riddle Run! * Made it to the Compassion Shrine and was assaulted by a band of orcs! * On our return journey, Senior Drachen dropped us into a room with no doors.. The People’s Soup Kitchen
Run by the people, for the people. As we’re not quite in the right season for a picnic as such, behold..! THE PEOPLE’S SOUP KITCHEN. Miss Axiana Masteen has been hard at work cooking up a storm and preparing lots of tasty soup and bread for our locals to feast upon. With winter fast approaching we must ensure our Covian folk are well cared for. This initiative ensures a hot and wholesome meal at no charge. Regardless of whether ye be a Baron or a pauper, all are welcome.
When: 8.30pm GMT, just after Sunday Parade.
Where: Just outside the gates of Cove.
Bring: A good natured spirit. BYOB!
The Soup Kitchen will also play host to;
* Improv games with the Endless Shire Theatre Company
* A friendly Bagball Match (or Covian Cougar try-outs?)
* Dramatic readings from the work of local Covian writers!

For the attention of Regular Scout Martin-Melior,
Further to the patrol I conducted in Altmere last eve, we happened across a lass that was travelling in the region. She mentioned word that Commander Grayner had been sighted beaten and bloody, being led away by guardsmen from Yew. We laughed it off thinking it nonsense, and it could still well be! But.. worth mentioning to ye so ye have all the facts.

Patrol of Altmere - 8pm, Friday 9th November 2018Second patrol complete! In AttendanceSerj Eason, Watchman (Squad Leader) Raiden Morana, Captain Kelly Sanderson, Sergeant Ilyana Drachen, Senior Arcanist Tyrael Styx, Junior Grenadier Sheriam Palmer, Junior Guardsman Garrison Hawke, Watchman Carolin Kazami, Commoner Patrol Notes* Multiple vermin and low level monsters dispatched on the patrol route. * Happened across local Altmere lass who said she had witnessed Commander Grayner being escorted away under duress by the Guardsmen Militia of Yew. * Sang 'Folk of Altmere' to bolster local morale. * Ventured to the home of Khaelieth, renowned citizen of Cove. Gah.
Anyway, thank you for taking care of her.
It concerns me that she was drinking with someone else. This now makes the lady in question a victim. We may have someone in the vicinity of Cove that gets women drunk and then perhaps attempts to have his (or her) way with them. Commander Hoagie is out of town, so I'm all out of suspects!
Perhaps we need a line up.

For the record, it clucked at us first. * Door blown off its hinges when checking Memorial Square for loiterers. Household Insurance to cover damages. * Strange noises heard in Town Hall. In my push to become a Junior Guardsman I would like to undertake this sneakily challenging duty set by Captain Morana ( Tightening Security). Patrols should be no longer than 20 minutes and a good opportunity to secure our land. I would welcome any support ye can give! The duty requires that a minimum of 3 guardsmen are in attendance on each patrol. I will pay ye in ale! COMPLETED! * 7.30pm, 08/11 Thursday ~ Baronship Household (Barracks, Town Hall, Church and Tavern) - Sergeant Sanderson's event straight after at 8pm!COMPLETED! * 8pm, 09/11 Friday ~ Altmere COMPLETED! * 8pm, 10/11 Saturday ~ Compassion Desert COMPLETED! * 7.30pm, 11/11 Sunday ~ Graveyard - Parade straight after at 8pm! In AttendanceSerj Eason Ilyana Drachen Ayseh Carolin Kazami Rimeny De Blaze Caerys This eve, I hosted a Drama Workshop with a very enjoyable crowd. We worked primarily on improvisational technique, harnessing the collaborative power of creativity. Over the course of an hour we practised various exercises with some interesting results! An initial scene I ran with Ilyana resulted with the intention of eating honey-glazed goats, and one with Ayseh concerned the plan of world domination but ABSOLUTELY no slavery. Later into the Workshop, actors were given characters to perform in scenes and also created a story together through one word contributions. The story was called 'The Baron and the Baldness' and I shan't be detailing its contents, but let's just say it included 'Hoagie fondling'. A fun eve! And a good start to performance returning to Cove (and beyond..!).
