Returning from Morgar's swamp escapade we ran into an unwanted guest who kept bothering our debriefing. Rufus the
AssTax Man. Giving a couple of guardsman some trouble and having me lock up Me'an, he finally left. With his leaving I was to lead a sentry at a dangerous location *Uknown*. But I realized we had a bigger threat. Looking into the big scared eyes of the soldiers I knew it would only be right to protect them. Being they are my men and they do serve Cove and the Baron, not mentioning all the gold they donate to the Coffers is way more than the money they want to pay to tax's. So I held the sentry at the barracks. After telling the men to collect the supplies it took them about 10 minutes just to discuss who is going to do what with what kind of equipment. Finally, I started to doubt they would, they left to get the supplies needed. They brought hides by the tons and wood by the barrels full. Llinor started crafting crates and she helped them build an amazing sentry. It was tall and sturdy and ready to sit around while we stand around and inside it. The men gathered pie by the tons and ale.
All in all Cove is safe....but I fear Rufus will return...
