Tuesday - The Covian ShireRita Whalebiter, Junior GrenadierBersi, Arcanist Cadet Keitaro Kazami, Junior Grenadier Ilyana, Watchman Lucas Drachen, Civilian Tuesday's patrol became a manhunt as reports came in that Senior Kelly Sanderson had gone missing, leaving her kit outside the barracks steps. I split the gathered men into two groups with hopes o' clearing more ground more quickly. Though we been mindful that an old Scout were more than capable o' losing us if she didn't want to be found, Bersi's more southerly group caught on to a trail of barefoot human prints heading easterly through the woods and followed it near the ruins, where Kazami and I caught up with them. Where our trail grew cold we found an old money-pouch which looked like it'd been tossed aside. if those prints were hers, all signs seemed to point towards her running straight across the border. Nay caring to give up just yet, we disarmed and crossed into Vesper, where the locals we spoke to denied having seen anyone o' Sanderson's description. The suggestion were raised that she might've headed to the port itself if she were on the gettaway, and with no other leads, we headed that way, finding no clues as to Sanderson's whereabouts but coming across a warning notice Kazami and Drachen figured might have to do with the unnatural kraken found the day before-- sketched it below. *a signature is scrawled below*R Whalebiter Junior Grenadier

Patrol Rota, 1st-7th March
Following yesterday's attacks on ourselves and our allies in Stonekeep, it's critical that we step up security measures around Cove and surrounding territories. I'm looking for recruits and above who are willing to lead the following patrols.
Sign below stating what patrol you can commit to next week. If you find come the day that you'll nay be able to lead, arrange for someone to cover you.

Monday - The Orc Fort

While clearing the place out, keep eyes peeled for unusual activity.
Tuesday - The Covian Shire
Rita Whalebiter, Junior Grenadier
Follow the Vesperian border. Check the ruins for any sign of disturbance.
Wednesday - Covetowne
Torrak Keres, Grenadier Captain
You are authorised to look through private homes and shops. Also inspect the bank, docks, gate, and watchtower.
Thursday - Baronship Household
Bersi, Arcanist Cadet
Patrol and inspect the following buildings: Barracks, church, tavern, library, the Square. Also check the lake.
Friday - The Altmere
Larinya Angalae, Junior Guardsman
Taking care to treat the locals proper, check our garrisons and the farms along the Altmere road.
Saturday - Avaricia
Lead your group into the many mining caves in the region, including Covetous.
Sunday - Cove Graveyard
Clear the walking undead out. Occupy and hold the crypt through the night, and report back anything of note.

Captain,
Regarding attack on Household tonight around 2030:
We were struck in three phases:
1) Juggernauts in the Llama Point region.
2) Betrayers near Grenadier Headquarters and the Goblin.
3) "Exodus Minions" at the city gates.
They didn't penetrate into the town itself.
Patrol of the Shire and orc's fort turned up nothing of note. Couldn't locate their entry point. Possibly by sea-- one foreign vessel found by southern watchtower but unlikely to have carried heavy forces.
No known casualties.
Cadet Bersi has ordered step up in patrols until further notice.

AttendingGrenadier Captain Torrak Keres Junior Grenadier Marcus Tel'var (at the orc fort) Junior Grenadier Rita Whalebiter Junior Grenadier Keitaro Kazami Guardsman Recruit Lossarious Teleri Having decided to get the newest recruit out and about, and me and Kazami itching to get some real work done with our conflagration vials for the first time, we set out last night for a patrol of the orc fort under Captain Keres. By the time we were finished... and I don't recall it being but a half-hour or so later... the place'd been cleared and burnt so's that hardly a living thing were left, and yet still we were itching for more to do. So the Captain ordered us all off to town and through the gate to Chaos, and off we piled, eager to find ourselves some mortal danger to keep us busy. I've been in sticky situations in Chaos. But this time we barreled on through, bronze-shouldered shielders to the fore with our archer recruit bringing up the back. We cut a line over the stone bridge to the south, then westerly, where sure enough we found ourselves ambushed by the very worst of wytches, and daemons, and their like. Our wall pressed on, trampling succubus and elemental underfoot. As we circled back, we dared the passage we knew to be guarded always by balrons. Bracing ourselves behind our heater shields, and with Teleri keeping up the fire bravely from behind, we weathered the onslaught of three balrons, one after the other, before turning homewards again. Destroyed: A succubus, three balrons, five or six orc brutes, and plenty of other Guardian spawn gone uncounted. Attending: Junior Rita Whalebiter, leading. Junior Celuvian Haap Junior Keitaro Kazami Junior Bersi Watchman Cor'Vani Watchman Ruby Whalebiter Lead a group up to the Altmere crossroads yesterday afternoon. Had the men set up sentry walls in the centre of it, then paired them up for a few rounds of practise fighting inside the building itself. The fortress's pretty narrow, and there're only ladders running between floors, so mobility were a challenge for them. We finished off with a free-for-all what must've lasted quarter of an hour, good run as we'd figured out how to use the ladders to our advantage by that time. No strange activity noted at the sentry.
