(The Package for Jeremy)

I was sitting at the place I now call home when a pigeon landed on my showlder with a message on it. I took the message and read it,Marcus meet me at the Grenadiers HeadQuarters now. Signed Yer Mentor.

I gathered my things and then headed there as fast as i could. Upon ariving I noticed that I had beaten her there so I waited outside for her, and the wait was nay too long, as I was about to sit on the steps, she came runnin up.



She then went into detail about what it was she had wanted me to her her there about. A package to deliver I must do without loosing it or even looking in at it. As soon as she finished the details I then set out on my long journey. I headed for the cross roads that turn to lead to britain where I was then stopped by some brigands wanting to know what the hurry was. T told them that I had a package to deliver to a man in Skara, and they then wanted to take a look at it, but of course I had to refuse and they were none to happy, so they took to the swords as I pulled my axe from my belt and took Guard. Soon as the first blow was delivered and the first brigand fell, the rest fell even quicker.



I then set out once again, Wondering how many more wil try to get at this package, and how soon will the one that ran from battle was able to pass the word to the others about their missfortune of meeting me then. After awhile and putting the thought aside I then went back to thinking about the task I was set with and seeing that I ma not too late delivering it.

I soon entered the swamps and was quickly greated.



Running past it I was almost over taken by the smell that was worste then my Father expelling air from his backside when he pulls a good all night drinking benge. Or even worste than the Dragoon Stables. Hard to choose which. I tuffed it out and jess ran splashing swamp puss all over the creatures as they triied to get in my way.



Running through the swamp and trying to keep the package dry was nay an easy one to do, But I was able to do it by putting it in my pack and putting a tunic over it.



As I made my way out of the swamp I could smell the fresh air trying to reach in and faster I ran, could nay take the awlful smell nay longer.

I ran till I seen the Boardering Outpost, Went throught the gates towards Britain.


 
A bit closer to my delivery now than when I first started out, Getting tired of the running, I thought my Grenadier Badge, I gained the strength to keep going. Every where I looked or turned something was there trying to get at me, but I was too fast for them to even keep up.



Finally I could see the sign of Britain as I made my way down the road.



Soon crossing a bridge into the town of Britain.



The town was buisy as useual and the people were still snobs like when I was growing up, I always said one day they will drown with the noses up in the air and it starts to rain. But to each their own I guess, that is why I like Cove, everyone is nice.

Running past the Bank I made my way to the exit of Britain.



I soon made it to the mountain pass where this Lass was haveing trouble finding Britain.



After giveing her directions I then headed out towards Skara. Running out of the Pass I soon made it to the Cross roads, then took the left road heading to my destination.



Another long stretch of a run now but closer than ever. I ran and ran, and the only thing that kept me going was the thought of getting my Grenadiers Badge. After some time running I made it to the docks that leads to Skara but on the otherside.



I then crossed to the otherside and quickly made my way to the Town Hall where I was to meet this man that the package was for. Making it to the Town Hall I stopped to catch my breath for a moment.



I then entered the building and went to find Mister Jeremy.



After finding this made and getting the right directions I then left out and went to the door I was told to, The knocked on the door. After being told to enter I then sat down after being told to. I then told the man that I was here to deliver a package to him and placed it on the table carefully. Then explained that some brigands wanted the package as well.



He then took the package and studied it for a bit then opened it getting a big surprise as some green vapors shot out at him ingulping him in a small cloud that surrounded his head. I tried to help the man but was nay sucessful as he fell before I could get to him.



After a moment I got to thinking and then started looking around to see that two people was in the room with us. I looked to them and they both told me nay to worry as they hated the man and that I jess set them free by killing their master, as they were his slaves.

After setting the man back in his seat I then looked up seeing that they were starting to leave. I then said to them that I needed to leave as well befor someone came in to see what has happened here.



Before leaving I did tiddy up a bit to make it look like he died while working on some paper work, then headed out the doors to make my way back to Cove where I belong.

Making it back to my home I seen a pigeon on one of the benches waiting for me with a note that said, When done meet me back at Grenadiers Head Quarters. Gaining the strength again I headed to meet with my Mentor Miss Eve.

Getting there she told me to sit down, so i did, still shakeing from what had happened. She then explained what it was that I had done, and told me that I made her proud that I could follow orders without question, she also told me that I would make a fine Grenadier. I then told her that I had to take my leave when she asked me if i wanted a drink. I told her that i could use one so she took me to her nice house and we sat and talked a bit and drank some wine, after she gave me the grand tour of her nice home I told her that i had to take my leave. Stepping outside I saluted her and told her good by then headed back to Cove to rest up from the long tireing journey I jess made in one days travels.

[The Triple Patrol]

The Triple Patrol

At the Barracks I was met by Recruit Jon and had him line up for a short patrol that wasn't so short. I filled him in on all the places we were to patrol and told him to make sure he was ready for anything.



We then headed out on our way to Altmere first to make sure that the Brigands hadn't taken it over, and so make sure it was still in order as we had left it from the last time we visited it. On our way we incounted several Guardians and quickly took them down.

Once at Altmere I ordered it to be cleared out and in we went.



We entered it and started checking things when this winged wench came out from no where and jumped us, but to her surprise, the last thing she saw was my axe strikeing her once as she fell to the ground to move no more.



After makeing sure that there was going to be no more surprises we went back outside and then desided that the Vespern Boarders needed to be patrolled to make sure them buggers were nay tryen to make their boarders further out from where they are.



On our way to the Cove/Vesper Boarder we came across the civy knocked out by a troll so we lent him a hand and killed that bloodi thing.



I then took all the coins back that it took from the fella while Jon helped him back to his feet. I then gave him his things and he then thanked us, then took off like he was on an importand errand.



We then took off heading to the boarder again where we were to kill more of the guardian spawn on our way. As we approached the boarder we did indeed see more of the Guardian spawn, I swear that them ogres have to be related to the Vesperns as they look like some I do know that live there and work at Swaggers, *Shrugs* *Shivers*, I would hate to have to Marry into one of their Families, GAH!.

At the Boarder, all was clear, except the thought of them being related to the ogres .



After pondering a bit, it was time to make the patrol of the graveyard. We then headed out to make our way there with no trouble from anything just to be attacked by the leader of the graveyard as long with its followers.



We made our way around laying all that still walked to rest once again. We did not bother entering the Crypt for as we got close, all that was in there came out to greet us and to try to get us to join them in the endless walk of the dead. As you are reading this you may knotice that they failed badly as I would nay be maken this report on it. We had no more to put back to rest so then headed to the exit.



Leaving there we could not leave the town un patrolled so we made our way there as I remember being attacked by 2 orcs there nay long ago being knocked and left fer dead, Thanks to Mister ShadowHand steppen out of the shadows to help me back up.

On our way to the gates we stopped at this rather big mound of dirt, as it ca nay be missed fer it be on the way to the Town gates.



Anyways to Cove town we went and quickly made our way to the Look out Tower were I was once attacked by the Orcs, to make sure that there was nay more traps set to snare anyone else. We looked inside ready for anything that may jump out at us, but there was nothing there to see or find except some shelves with books on them.

I then ordered the Recruit to return back to the Barracks.



Back at the Barracks we devided the Coins we collected which mine went to the Grenadiers funds and he took his as he will need arrows and bolts. I then dissmissed him and went to the Grenadiers HeadQuarters to place my coins there.

I just want to add, that I would gladly go out on p[atrols with Recruit Trent as he follows orders to the letter. At anytime he never ran off or let me fall.

After all was gathered at the Barracks Regular Scout Dalamar Had begain with inspecting the uniforms, and other things unrealted.



Was okay till he had asked me to open my mouth so he could see my teeth, tha hell he think we are horses?. He moved on down the line doing the same to everyone in line.



Now from the uniform inspection he then ordered us to place pur bandages behind us so he see how many we were carrying. Recruit Sam did had the very least amount of bandages so Regular Dalamar gave him some to help him out



After picking up our bandages we were then ordered to step over to the fence, Dalamar then started explaining certain battle thrust with a Sword or an Axe. And he explained the main purpose of thr Shield holders.



Then he went to talking about the uses of shields in a Formation, and how axes would come into use once the enemy starts to open their deffences,
He then told us to defend our selves so we took our stand and let him have it as he came running in. Our fellow men never fell to his attack.



After we had sucessfully evaded all his attacks we were then ordered to line up where we were then asked if we had any question about this eves training, then soon were Dissmissed.

As I was making my rounds checking all the goods in the warehouse I recieved a Pigeon with a not from the Boss. Taking the note I killed the pigeon so that no one else could use it to find the warehouse I read the note. Hmm! To the towns hall he said, Wood to steal. I gathered my things and headed to the Town Hall of Cove. Once there I went inside and took a seat to find out what was going on.



After the Govener talled a bit we then left for the Coveian Docks, there we boarded a ship.



Off to a place called Moon Glow where we would gather some special wood as he put in his speach.



On the way there we had a few living walking water Guardians attack and knock the Govnor, we then killed them off and helped the Govner up to his feet. The trip wasn't that long, but would have been quicker if the Govner had taken sailing lessons.

We did finally reach the banks of Moon Glow where we then off loaded the Packie from the ship.



From there we headed off into the woods where we would set up a Camp to store the wood that was cut till we were ready to leave and return home.



After awhile the wood was stacking up nicely as I could see that there was a grand amount laying bu the pack horse.



The Govner then desided it would be best to start loading the ship, so he asked that we start loading it, ( The boss and I ). We then took the reins of the horse then started loading it with the lumber collected so far.



We loaded the horse then I threw some over my shoulders to cut down on how many trips we would have to make. Then headed to the ship.



After loading the ship with all the lumber and too keep from leaving a trail Boss desided it best to kill the horse to keep them from being able to get more when they find out that we took their ship.



We then boarded the ship once again and headed out to sea, back to the ware house was ordered so I gave the tillerman instructions to where to find the warehouse.



We finally made it to the warehouse and off loaded the ship and stored the lumber inside so the weather could not claim it before we could sell it.




The ship was then taken to the Coveian Docks left to be seen Vandelized.

I have to admit some of the grafix rock but the others don't, The Characters look ok, I have tried it twice now and both times it was too Choppy and looked like I was walking when I was running. I my-self gives it a thunbs down.

After waking from my slumber I desided to set out and spread the word of Cove. I visited all the towns I could in one days travel.

It was kinda late I desided to make my wqy to the Armys Barracks to see if anyone was about when I seen the Boss. I walked up and noticed that there was two Guardsman about to fight. The boss and I was betting on who we thought would win, But alass nothing happened as an Elfe came up and spoiled our fun with its Stinch. We then headed to the town of Cove where for the first time I met the Big Bossman and quickly introduced my-self. We then were asked if we wanted to go to the Swaggers to see what is going on and to get drinks.

Not long after maken it to Swaggers some bloodi Orcs came up and really ruined the fresh air with their rotting flesh smelling breaths as they tried to talk.



The Vesperns were quick to run em out of the bar and we went to watch if there would be a fight and was almost too late for as we made it outside they were already fighting.



With Vesper pulling out a easy victory we then desoded it best to head out so them can cool down. We desided to head to Trinsic and visit the Tavern there as it does at time have some good drinks. We made our way to the Public blue gate thing where we then headed through to Trinsic. Once there we seen some elfies runnen for the same gate thing we came out of. We stopped on, a funny looking lass she was and she desided to go another way to travel as she called us rude missfits, We then headed to the town as we made our way to the gate we could see quite a few people there at the entrance.



With a wee bit of a hassel we made our way in to a bridge where I seen this very pretty lass. I walked up to her and told her that she was pretty and she called me a four legged swine. After that I thanked her.



We finally left them standen there wondering and made our way to the Tavern. Once there we went in and sorta took over the place.



As we proclaimed the Tavern as ours we drank our fill and the boss wanted to go see that was happening in Yew, so we packed it up and headed out to Yew. As we were leaving we had a bit of trouble as a local had made a complaint on how we suposedly had looked into his pack and all. After a few moments of hassel we then left the place to head to Yew.

We made it to the place called Yew to find that no one was about for us to hassel so we went looking about and found a really big building and went in. As we entered the place I desided to make sure that they knew someone had visited, so I tossed a very Highly explosive liquid at a large table.



That will teach them to leave and have no-one to guard the place. We made our way through the building making sure we left our mark everywhere in the place as we urenated here and there, on walls and statues, on rugs and furniture.
We then left there and headed back to Cove so i could get the Big Bossman a Key to the locked Warehouse. We all arrived at te warehouse, Got the Big Boss a key, then we all left to get some rest.

After a long restful night I was awaken by a noise down staris, I get up and go to see what it was when I seen the boss gathering his sea traveling gear, *Boss where ye going?* I asked him. Hi there kid, grab yer things, we have a meeting to attend..

I quickly grabed my things and headed out to the ship. Once on the Ship he quickly set off (east).



Was not a long trip as we finally made land again and none to quicker, the way there was ruff as the boss's sailing skills are not the best. Me head was spinning once we landed,so I took a moment to clear me thoughts then headed to the meeting place with the boss. Once there we met with this stranger who was in this little store rooom of the place.



He told the boss that he had his order filled and that it was the best in all the lands. He then told us that the street values of it was the grandest their could be. After awhile they made their exchange and then we headed back to the ship to find it burning.



It didn't take it long to fully burn as the hull of the ship was still soaked with all the ales that had been spilled in it.



We then had to make our way back to the warehouse on foot. Was quite a run carrying the goods and all, but none the less we made it without any trouble from any locals, *If they only knew, Muahahahaha*



The boss then placed the goos on the crates I aquired the night before and opened it to show me what we had aquired from the stranger.



I looked inside and to my surprise it was mopre of the pipe filling shade I love so much. After all was said and done the long ruin we had to make had finally cought up with me so I told the boss I needed to get some rest. I closed the box and headed off to reat.

As I made my way to the Town of Cove I was wondering how we could make a good profet in selling goods. I made the gates and it hit me, Everyone I know likes smoking the Shade mages use for there arts. A devious plan formed in my head, I will get a mage to bring me some, and make a weekly delivery.




After explaining that I had his wife he quickly ran off to his shop, *If only he knew* *I never had his wife but I do know where he lives* I waited and waited, wondering if he would do right or if he would call the Guards.



It was not long he then returned and placed at his side two small crates.




I then gathered the crates and the explained to him not to say a word to anyone or else



I then headed out of the Town and back to the Warehouse to store the newly aquired goods. But I have a funny feeling we will not see this man again so we may have to aquire more else where. He was so scared and shaking so bad that he may just pack up and leave with his wife. I will see about getting some ported in from somewhere.

*A Robbery*


After I had rested from getting burned by a Bloodi wench in town I got up a bit stiff, so I desided to move around a bit to loosen up some. I headed out walking around when I found my self at Mats place again. I went in and there was one of them lasses that was in the town much earlier. I aproached her with dagger in hand and told her point blank* Yer gold or yer life *.



She then took to shaking and jittering around, I told her to hurry it up and she then dropped some coins on the ground as I scared her when I spoke. I quickly scooped the gold up and turned to her and told her not to say a word to anyone or else.

I could hear some Guards coming so I made a quick excape, ducking here and there till I make my way to the woods. From there I headed back to the Warehouse to count thee bounty I collected, and to my surprize she had dropped a grand some of 932 coins. I then put the coins in our profet box for the Warehouse funds.



I can nay be sure about her but I don't think she will say a word to anyone as she thinks I will return for her life.

As I awoke this morn I was thinking to my self on how the warehouse needed to be furnished. I didn't have to think to long on it as I remembered this Crafty type back in the town of Cove by the name of Mat ShadowHand. I got dressed and went to see if I could find this ShadowHand and see about some furnishings. As I approached his house I had to be careful not to be see, but with luck nay one was around.

I slipped in and to my surpraze Mr. ShadowHand was getting ready to work. I approached him and explained that I have an order I would like to place with him.



After telling him where to go I then left him to his work.

As I made my way to the warehouse I went in to wait for him, I then remembered that I had buisness with the local bank. I walked out the door as he was coming up. I told him to begin his work and that I will return soon to see his progress. I then left him to his work and headed to town to see the bank about an account. I made it to the bank and went inside and talked to the tellers there and they told me I had to wait till the mannager arrived sos I can open an account. I took a seat and waited and waited till after about 5 hours the manager did finally show up. We began talking and he opened me an account, I then thanked him and left.

I made my way back to the Warehouse only to find that Mr. ShadowHand was no longer around. So I went in to see what was done and to my surprize he had finished his work, and nicely done as well.



I then went up stairs and it was looking great as well.



Well now this man has more uses than a tick on a boar hog I say!

After checking everything over I then layed down on one of them new mats and went to sleep.

Collecting Gold for the Orphans:


As I was aproaching the town of Cove I was called over to the Vendore plot, Once there I was asked if i could help collect some coins for the Orphans, I said aye lets go. We headed out to the Army Barracks for them Guardsman there all ways have spair coins.



After collecting all we could we then returned to the Vendor plot where we counted the coins we collected. We collected the some of 64 coins from the brain dead Guardsman, It be a wonder that they can protect Cove at all.

As we were deviding the Coins a Guardsman did sneak up on us so we had to make a break for it. We ran all the way to our newly aquired warehouse where we then desided that we were in need of rest after a long run.
