Best Weapon Skill!?

Whats the official stance on weapons with "use best weapon skill"? Are they legal? (this is assuming the weapon is 100% physical with no magic abilities, unless of course use best weapon is considered magical  )

It is considered illegal.
But in certain situations, like special tournaments they can be allowed for that occation only.

Essentially the item still gives an advantage over people who don't have them, seeing as he can utilize special move combo's from weapons he wouldn't normally have access to. For this reason, they're banned.

The usual exception is jousts, when any weapon skill lances are provided.
