Ah... So you fancy yourself as a heavy archer in the Grenadiers perhaps recruit? Grand.

I see your nearing promotion to watchman too. *nods thoughtfully*

Hmm... Well then, we'll need some more recruits to replace you with!

Here's your first apprentice task:

- You are to place a recruitment banner at 10 moongates throughout the lands.
- You will find recruitment resources (books, torches, runes and cloth) in the pouch on the duty officer's desk in the barracks. If you can't access it then seek me out or another officer to furnish you with the equipment needed.
- I expect this task completed before Sunday's promotion parade if at all possible.
- Post up a note showing drawings of the 10 banners you have placed.

Well done on the promotion Watchman, but nay time ter rest on our laurels eh?

I have another task fer ye.

One of the new duties ye have as a Watchman is to lead patrols and another is to post sentries. This next task will test yer competence at both.

The Task.

Lead a patrol to the Altmere outpost.
Once there construct a sentry post to fortify the outpost.

Conditions.

At least 2 other guardsmen must accompany you on this mission.
The sentry post must be held for at least 15 minutes.
Keep those present entertained with the telling of tales or perhaps a game of dice etc.
Post a brief report of the patrol in the patrolling log.
Post the report of the sentry post on the main notice board (IC Board).

I have given ye a little time ter get yer trials done and settle into the Baron's Own but you can nay rest on yer laurels my apprentice.

Ye have worked damn hard to get ter where ye are but now ye are a Grenadier we need ter test ye ter the limit.

I want yer ter lead a huntin' expedition ter yer homeland of Tokuno. Where ye go and what ye slay is up ter ye, but ye will display yer organisational and leadership skills on this expedition.

Here are yer orders...

Conditions.

*At least 5 other Covians must accompany ye on this mission.
*You must collect no less than 25,000 coins from those ye slay.
*You will post a full report below including pictures of your adventure.
