[rumour] Kazuo campaigning to become Mayor?

Some of the local townsfolk are already talking of this, Kazuo Shinrai - a local aristocrat - appears to have the ambition to become the new mayor of Cove. A wealthy and influental man such as Kazuo would certainly have the funds and the means to wage a succesful campaign to become mayor and it is yet to see if he will get any opponents who wish to run against him.

There was one man who also had the ambition to become the new mayor, however, little has been seen or heard from him as of late.

It is also rumoured that it was Kazuo Shinrai who funded the construction of the new townhall for the most part. When asked about this, however, Shinrai claimed that although he did bring the Baronship in contact with certain renowed craftsmen, he personally did not fund the structure.

Now, if it was not Kazuo Shinrai and the funds were not all supplied by the Baronship itself, then who would it be? If not Kazuo Shinrai, it could be that a certain organization may be involved, yet there is no viable evidence to substain this rumour. According to a local banker it is a fact that the funds came from within Cove and were transfered to the Baronship by an anonymous party.
