We are a guild of those I used to laugh about and call brainless heavy rp´er. Now I am part of it and always wondered, why at the boards RP´ing sometimes stoped. In MY opinion the signatures and avatars belong to the RP part, kind of continuing of the UO char. And I know, there are lots of fantastic avatars around to represent your char. Some boards offer it as an ordinary add-on.

I agree, even though my avatar has never been anything even remotly connected to my char... This is only an idea, but I still think it's an good one at that because:

1. It will be very easy to see who the person really is in the game.
2. It's almost like leaving a stamp with your insignia on every IC paper you "sign"

Well, my avatar is very much related to my chars!

Bob Marley - likes to smoke illegal substances, Kazuo likes to smuggle them (after which Kasei smokes them)

Bob was very much against violence - Kazuo feels the same way, hence he has others do the dirty work for him

Bob made pwn music - Kazuo has GM musicianship

Bob pwns without question - pretty much the same as Kasei + Lightningstrike + Honour

Bob was a honourable person - My chars are Japanese

Bob is a legend! - Ok, not quite there yet

Does raise an interesting debate, really.
Should our Avatars and Signatures be monitored by the Roleplay Police?

One can appreciate that a certain Bob Marley and Jack Bauer can set the atmosphere slightly off course (despite your exceptional comments, Kazuo Cheesy)

How's something like this? I know its small but thats the Avatar Limit.

Try to register and see the avatar list that the board offers...

Maybe we can add something similar? The thing with the titles/ ranks makes some work if promoted... then we need a kind of page where all possible ranks are put to download the corresponding picture...

Couldn't register because it won't accept my hotmal address.
But I did have a look around at their avatars.

They seem to use a lot of random artwork on there, including Dungeon Keeper images!?

They have the advantage of larger avatars though. I'm not sure if we can expand the size of avatars on here. I'll have a browse through admin.

But yeah, I'm quite happy to draft up a load of avatars/ranks with their links.
