Interguild events! There are plenty folks on through out the community. We need more events designed to bring the guilds together. Weather this involves war, some mythic threat, a tavern rotation, the loyalist and separatist forces officially ending all aggression. Who knows, the hate hate relations between guilds is killing us all. And if you say there is no such thing then your a damned fool.

I realize that everyone is basically at peace, but the ancient and traditional hate mongering IC is frankly very detrimental. I harp on this anytime discussion opens. I wish I had solutions but every idea I've had I know won't succeed here or would likely be detrimental to the community as a whole. That said, after 5 years I have Finlay chosen to put an alt in another guild, simply to get out of the isolationism that the Europa community sometimes feels like.

The only solution I really have right now is unification in a player run town outside the traditional cities of UO, free sharding with a similar idea as my first idea, or serious contemplation into finding a replacement game(none really exist) that people would willingly mass migrate to. I do not hold much hope and have no doubt that we stand at the twilight of what was a golden age. I believe we have been in this twilight for some time now, but have been told Te notion was pessimistic or unrealistic. What's unrealistic is the idea that we can continue to get anything out of the
near nothing.

I've gone on long enough, it's the broken record but if we don't all come up with something we are screwed. Building up BoC activity is only a bandaid over a wound that requires a surgeon. BoC is not what we have to worry about surviving it's the whole community.

Ladies living under this roof shall be required all of the following:
Rooms shall be cleaned, Rent shall be paid monthly on time, They shall take guests only within the Common Rooms of the building, will seek education to better themselves, shall refrain from crime most specifically prostitution, shall not discuss rental amounts.

Privileges gained: A room of your own, Decorate to your hearts desire(Just pay yer rent); Access to meals and education, including access to a common parlor with which to court suitors and entertain guests; Access to baths for the maintenance of hygiene.


We also seek staff for the following positions:

Cook - Responsible for all meals served.

Tutors - Various subjects such as sewing, cooking, and meal making.

Accountant - for collecting rent so as to provide balances to the landlord.

First days of UO. I got my copy of UO free when EA took over Masque Game Network, 8 or 9 years ago. I came to UO hoping to find the friends I had lost when EA wipped out all the games we used to play "Aliens Online" "Godzilla Online" "Starship Troops: Battle Space"

Anyways, I never found any of them. This was back when you spawned in the North Brit Inn, and got an immediate invite to New Haven. I took it and met Blaze I think his name was, a few of us ran about until they all jumped the portal without telling me back to the main land. I was lost and eventually my young status expired and I was transported, mid conversation, to the mainlands. Where I got rather aquainted with the Brit Graveyard, back when the North BlackSmith was important, before we had Luna and every man had a mule on his account. I remeber the "great Migration" Hundreds of portals from Felucca thanks to everyone having a moonstone. Running to the grave yard was dangerous, we didn't have "are you sure you want to go through this portal" Good thing was you might go in one only to fall into another, a series of them even and be lucky enough to emerge again on the trammel side lol. About a week later I took 2 days off, I came back and running into trees on the way to the mine was the least of my worries. "Tree, Tree, House, House, House, Notehr House, More houses, oh is that a tree? No a House."

The great housing boom had started. Was fun years spent floundering lol. Then after The Kingdom of Stormhaven collapsed on atlantic I stopped playing until I remebered a BoC cross shard flyer. I went to Europa, and made straight for Cove and met Erik Arkay. That first meeting made me decide to stay. Been here ever since.

Yep, GDC Hall of Fame, heck we even have Guiness World Records. Hah

Must say I bought the boat (I've always owned one) Though I am refraining from arming the little devil until I have managed to convince the Heir Apparent that I should have a boat. . . may have to make it worth his while.

I didn't know you could own just a row boat. Thought it was required to have a vessel first to deploy it from. Neato.

The security features are nice, I set it so strangers can not board her, party are passengers and Guild Members are Officers. Figure nobody who has "guild Member" as their rank is going to steal my boat much. Besides I have the key and you can not dry dock it without the key.
