In order to improve the Cove experience, and minimize the amount of time spent with administrating, making more time for playing, we have decided to extend the self-management promotion system that the Citizens currently enjoy to the Army.
As the saying goes, many hands make light work, and so, it is encouraged that anyone above the rank of Watchman should now create and manage their own administration profile. As a new recruit, you will enjoy the leisure of having the Command team manage your administration, but as you begin to climb the ranks, you will need to take more responsibility for tracking your own progress!

Secondly, Cove Command has made some changes to the promotion requirements:
- The Recruit Trial has been abolished in place of an extra attended training

- Command Tasks, while they are helpful for personalised jobs for Guardsmen, were beginning to slow us down with the rate at which they needed to be set. To counter this, Command Tasks are no longer a requirement in themselves. The number of required command tasks has been added to the number of required Guardsman Duties, and any Command Tasks you have been or will be set will count towards the Guardsman Duty requirement.
For example, if you had:
Guardsman Duties: 6/8
Command Duties: 1/4
you will now have:
Guardsman Duties: 7/12.
