Perrin set a brisk pace for himself, he wanted nothing more than to get back home and set himself down in front of a nice warm fire with an ale and a book. He hefted the shield he was carrying under his arm, trying to get a better grip on the broad piece of iron. All he had to do was make this one delivery, then he would be on his way.

On his way past the Keg and Anchor tavern, he noticed a pair of young ladies across the street, arguing heatedly. As soon as they noticed him, both brightened visibly. They called out to him and he politely stopped to engage them in conversation. Perrin quickly wished he were elswhere as the first question they asked him had his face turning a vivid shade of red. Politely declining their advances he instead offered to buy a round of drinks in the Keg and Anchor. They shared in a pleasant conversation about local politics and personal histories while dining on roasted pig.

-

Talk of politics and places soon turned to things more...personal. Perrin found it increasingly difficult to fend off their feminine charms. Another round of drinks was purchased, this time by one of the ladies. While distracted by the beauty in red, something sinister found its way into his ale...

-

Within a few minutes of downing the ale the room began to spin, slowly at first then with increasing speed. Lurching up from the bench, Perrin promptly found his way to the floor with all the speed of a poleaxed ettin. Slowly the light dimmed and all went black...

Now helpless as a babe, he could do nothing to defend himself.

-

Awaking with a dreadful headache the first thing he noticed was his lack of pants! Groggily he sat up. He could not recall at all how he ended up on the floor. Looking down he noticed a note lay in his lap. Upon picking up the note he could hardly believe what he read! Spluttering and cursing, he stuffed it into his tunic. Quickly regaining his senses he found his pants under the table. "Thank Avatar for kilts..." He thought to himself.

-

Perrin made haste for home, his head hurt both from confusion and ramming it into the tavern floor. Upon returning he took stock of all his equipment, polishing his mace and inspecting his armor. Putting his coin pouch down he then pulled out his gem pouch and much to his disapointment found several of the most valuable gems were missing. The sudden realization of what had happened hit him. He could not remember any faces or names, but he knew enough to understand he had been robbed. "After all," he thought wryly while looking at the note "Im not *that* good with the ladies."
