We set up a tax stall underneath the crossroad outpost at about.. 10pm. We ran into some peasant man claiming not to have any money for tax, he wouldn't give up any arrows or bandages, he just kept offering ale which wasn't accepted. We attempted to search him for illegal possessions but he resisted, eventually blurting out some rebellious crap. Took us a while to take him out, and his friend got away, but we got him. Almost took Morgar's sash with him too. We caught one of the rebels but the other got away taking the taxes with him too.
Making our way down the road back to the barracks some samurai looking bloke stopped us looking for a fight. He offered some sort of plan to 'get their boss' but I didn't have time to waste on him and further endanger us so we had to pass him.
The rebel was taken to the barracks and stripped of weapons and such. Attempting to open his pack ended up in a small explosion and the contents of his pack being gone. The rebel was left shackled and locked in the furthest cell in the barracks, awaiting punishment for:
- Assault on a guard
- Attempted murder
- Conspiracy(Rebel was found with a bunch of rebel propaganda flyers)
We've left him in the cells for an officer to administer punishment fit for the situation. Interrogation, too.
