Today was quiet so I set to placing some banners.  I thought it good time to spread word of Cove.

The training began with a line up.  We were asked what needed to enter battle.  There was lots of people with hands up and saying ideas.   People say things from being very brave to things to carry.  I was thinking good armour and weapons with lots of bandages.



When everyone stop saying things the Commander give us his answer.



Weapons I thought was obvious choice.  He also say we need bandages, potions, petals, fruit, bolas, herbs and arrows and bolts.   Is alot of things we need and I felt bad for only having bandages and arrows. 



The Commander then ask what potions we should have and how different fruits would help us in a battle.  Sergeant Keres showed us all his potions and Junior Guardsman Haap told us all about fruit and things it does.  I was beginning to think I need to carry much bigger bag.



It was then time for training.  We were split into two teams to do a battle training.  I was in Junior Guardsman Haap's team.  I thought our team would do bad because the Commander and Sergeant were in other team.



We had time to talk tactics and our team were told to heal lots and the targets to attack first.  We faced each other and I held my sheild firm and kept good grip on sword.



We fight three rounds and I was suprised as my team won all three.  Our tactic work very well and we all heal each other good with very few of us fall. 



The training was ended then and we all told that we did very good.

I saw this task and thought it another duty that Grenadier must do, security of Cove so I set to it.  I was going to ask other Watchmen to help but none were around.   We had been on two patrol today and I think them were too tired.

I decided to patrol north side first and walked the coast to Llama point.  I met a Llama there and thought that why it named so.  I followed the coast to Altmere Guardpost and found many water beasts and elementals in the bay.  These I kill using my bow as they were out of reach at first.   Further North I find a Troll but it did not stand for long.  I reached the Altemere Guardpost and find no other dangers.

Next I walk back towards town and west to Orc fort.  I killed the stray orcs around the edges and looked out to sea at the pinacle.   I then follow the coast back and south east towards Vesper.  This is a very long stretch of coast but I did not find much beasts this way.  A large bird and Ogre attacked me half way along the coast.   I walk further but see nothing else and come to the sandy beach of Vesper.  I decide not to linger too long and quickly head back to Cove.

I decide to help more citizens to travel.  Wishing to be a Grenadier it give good experience at being bodyguard. 



The first person I find want to go to Jhelom.  She wanted to see friend so we head off through the forest.  Was not long before we came across a big bird that swooped down to take the lady away.  I fought back and soon killed it.  Next on the road we meet a big Ogre.  It roared and scared the lady who hid behind me as I fought it.  We arrive at the moongate and go to Jhelom where she paid me for the help.



When I got back to Cove a noble looking lady wearing pretty dress asked to go to Jhelom.  So again I head back through woods.  This time I was attacked by two Ogre, first one and as soon as I turn around another attacked.  The lady was very thankful for help and said she would not of made it alone.  We arrived safetly at Jhelom.



Next another lady wanted to go to Nujel'm.  So I had to find a sailor to take us by boat.  The crossing was very calm but I did spot a big Sea Serpant swimming below us.  We arrived at Nujel'm and the lady was please not to get wet feet.  She said it not good Moongate going only one way.   



I got back to Cove to find another wanting to go to Nujel'm.  So I give Sailor some more coins and he take us back over the sea.  This time it not so good as Water Elementals attack us so I reach for my bow to ward them off.  I nearly pass out from poison but the sailor give me potion to help.  We dock and the lady got off to attend a party.



The last person wanted to go to Jhelom.  I was much happy as the sea crossings made me feel ill.  It is dark by now so I use torch to light our way.  The night had brought out big Spiders which attacked us in the woods.  I think the light of torch attract them.  Then a Troll charge at us, the man nearly run with fear so I had to tell him to stop.   He was much happy when we arrived at Jhelom and hurried to nearest tavern.

Today I led patrol to Honesty cave where Titan and Cyclops live.  After much run about and people run off we all get there.  I had to tell all to stay behind me as was confused on who leading or not following orders. 

We follow the dirt track to cave where many Titan and Cyclop are.  We fight each one we meet and everyone heal good.  No one get bad hit and fall because healing was very close.  I made sure we all hold and not go in too far to get surrounded.  We worked our way around outside and then inside.  We killed many Titan and Cyclop and Golden ones too.

When we have pockets full of gold we began to leave and make way back to moongate.  On way out we keep together until we reach moongate and go back to Cove.

Star was born on a small island south of Britain to a small family.  Being fearful of why Star was like she was her parents kept her inside and out of sight.  They quickly became aware of the effect the sun had on her when she was left in a sunny spot for too long and became badly burnt.

For most of Star's life she was happy to be alone and mostly stayed in a very small room with no windows drawing pictures of how she imagined life outside.  Her parents rarely spoke to her and so Star began to talk to herself in her own singsong childish language.

During one eveining Star found herself hungry, after not eating all day and went to find her parents for some food.  The house was empty and the front door had been left slightly agar as if her parents had left in a hurry. After getting some food, Star curiously began to explore her surroundings more and ventured outside for the first time. 

Flitting from one place to another and getting turned aside by people she eventually made herself onto the mainland of Britain and continued to travel whilst learning a little Britannian and weaponary as she went.  Eventually she made her way to Cove by travelling in the late evening or keeping in the shade.  Having learnt enough of the language to communicate she decided to make a new home where she could live life like those in her pictures.

Today Kal Scout did training for recruits and Watchmen.  We first showed equipement.  Some was lost in big hunt Demarian Guardsman led.  I lost only torch.

We had warm up of running and pushups then was first lesson, Evasion.  We line up and ran to not be hit by Kal.  When fall person joined Kal and more to avoid until all fall.  I almost last to fall was won by Kelly Sergeant. 

We did team battle next.  My team lost defend then other team lost defend.  Was both good at attack but my team last longer.  I was last to fall for my team on defend.  We attack very fast and got other team down much quicker.

After battle was all fighting.  Kal won and we should of got sooner but was Katryn recruit and me last to fight him.  I fell before Katryn as Kal used much poison.

After we all line up and dismissed.  Was good training and much thankyou to Kal Scout for leading.

I much wish be Grenadier.  I be good at guard work.  My mainland be not good but I try hard to know better.

Star Summers.

Yesterday I lead patrol to Covetous.  I take many guard and they help me get much gold.  We all fight very good and kill much monster.  We first kill many bird and strange stone bird.  Next we kill much flying eye and big plants.  Then big spider which if two could kill us all.  Was said by Delferium Guard. 



We go to third level and kill many lich and ghost be many doors and big statues that speak.



Down steps we find big cavern and much big Dragon.  It was red and very scarey.  Dalamar Guard attacked and was hit down with big foot in one swipe was squashed.  We run back upstairs.



We leave dungeon and after much try we get out safetly.



Kas Guard come to portal us back home.  We bring back 18,000 in gold and all much happy with hunt, all say very good.

Today I do Escort task.  I find people going to wedding in Jhelom.  The bride, her brother and a priest.

First I find man want to go Jhelom.  I fight monster on way, is many monster
in Cove wood.  We get to Jhelom he is much happy and pay gold.



Second I find woman hiding.  The bride she tell me man was brother and she scared to go.  I protect from many monster.  At Jhelom she tell me to get priest at Cove.



I find priest to bring Jhelom.  I fight Ogre and Spider.  We get arrive and he go to marry bride with man in Jhelom. 




Is all good and they much happy I help.  I lost colour crayons so only sketch.

I did two pictures of the banners I made.  I hope they are ok.  I put one at the moongate and one by the enterance to Haven.
