When: 11:30 PM, Saturday 7th
Covians and friends of Cove!
The thunder of hooves, the clash of steel on steel, the sound of man and steel hitting the ground! It can only mean one thing ... A Joust!
Mounts, shields, armour and special crafted lances will be supplied.
The prizes? First prize is an engraved golden lance. Second prize is an engraved silver lance. Third prize is an engraved bronze lance!
There will be an entry fee of 100 coins, to cover horse rent, saddle taxes and other sundry expenses.

I led an expedition to Magincia, to ensure the town is free from the daemons that destroyed it. The town is almost completely destroyed, with almost every building gone. Curiously, the parliament building is untouched. The town proved free from daemons, however the spirits of the dead haunt the ruins and attacked us. We slew many. Without Avatar's cleansing fire, I regret to inform you the town is unsuited for Avatarian colonisation.

Father Roland,
I bring you troubling news. Whilst gathering men for the expedition to Magincia, some of the Guards reported that an elf, Cor'Vani, summoned demon spawn and turned himself into a gargoyle. When questioned about this, he admitted it, claiming the men wanted 'something to smash'. Troublingly, he claims to be a wytch hunter himself. When I stated I would be reporting this to your own good selves, he announced he would leave Cove and the church. A guardsman persuaded him to come back. After the expedition the elf claimed he would not use his wytchcraft again.

*An old report falls out from behind two others where it was stuck between* Father Roland, I scouted out the dungeon Wrong to see the strength of the Jukan forces before a larger expedition attacked. To my surprise, the dungeon was free from the Jukans and their allies. Lizardmen, ogres and bandits - including wytches - appear to have regained control of the dungeon. The Cove Moongate was activated a bit earlier than planned. There's to be an EM event on Monday and Tuesday 8 PM both days to 'introduce' this gate. IC we have no knowledge of this event but your character might be in for a memorable time if they happen to be hanging around the Barracks.
I realise there are other events scheduled near or during the above times and I humbly ask the organisers of those events to be understanding of any delays whilst BoC's hard work in the community over the years is recognised over the next two days.
