Patrol of Occupied Altmere and the Cove/Vesper Border - 10:30am GMT, Friday 02/09/05
- Nothing unusual found, just more brigands and trolls lurking about. Taken care of with ease. No sign of Vesperian activity on the border.

Hunt to Despise to slay Ogre Lords Led by : Sergeant Ahmed Al Maktoun Present: Recruit Dalamar Recruit Angela White Recruit Jenifer Feather Sergeant Al Maktoun bellowed off the roof of the Barracks calling all recruits to join him on a hunt to despise, wasn't long before three recruit had assembled outside waiting eagerly to be told where they were headed, After deciding ter head to despise to slay some Ogre Lords Ahmed produced a small magic book and instructed us to point at the destination we required, we arrived in a dark cave our only light being Ahmeds torch..  After a brisk walk taking in a few Ettins and Trolls we arrived at the location of the Ogres and their lords,  After a shakey start of 'elping each other up and being knocked down again we all got into the swing of tihngs and started tacking down the Ogre Lords thick and fast, with archer support we managed to slay about twenty Lords and came back with a nice sum for the militia... *Jenifer sat remembering her last encounter with the disgusting creatures, half woman half bird and hideous at that* "Now they jus' seemed ter keep coming, maybe if we could find some sort o' special beast and slay it it would slow their flow" *Grabbing Watchman James Morris Jenifer set out to destroy yet more abominations, the steady flow did not seem to be slowing, Jenifer and James fought well side by side keeping each other alive*  *Jenifer, quickly thinking of and idea to stop the birds hatching begins stamping on the eggs of the beastly women whilst James fights off approaching fiends*  "There, over in the corner, there be a glowing beast!" Jenifer exclaimed, "Roit, Le's get 'er" Shouted James rushing over and stabbing the beast with his Spear.   Signed Jenifer Feather

*Jenifer awakes and, noticing no one being around decides to make a lil' gold fer the Baronship, and train her skills in combat at the same time, remembering the squarky scratchy sounds of them bird women in the woods she decides to find where they dwell and destroy as many as possible. After a few hours searching in the mountains she finds some nests of these half bird half "woman" disgusting creatures and begins hacking away. After a while she begins to notice that the flow is not ending and these creatures seem to have a never ending supply of offspring. Disheartened, but not beaten she decides to return to the Barracks and deposit the gold and think of a new way to train her skills*  Present: Jenifer Feather : Guardsman Recruit Gold recovered : 5024 Signed: Recruit Jenifer Feather |

*Jenifer walks into the barracks and seeing them empty decides to take a seat and begins writing a note*

Although i have been here but three days now i am afraid i must leave for a short time, i am going to travel and hone my skills with a blade, when i return in a week or so' time i will be ready to continue meh work fer the Baronship and git meself promoted.

*Jenifer Feather stumbles into the barracks after the long walk from Britain where she was training back to her homeland of Cove, upon entering the Barracks she is greeted by a rowdy rabble of men fighting on the rooftop she talks quietly and politly to Hrothgar who is suprised at her request to join the Militia, maybe he was expecting her to apply for Citizenship, after a short intoductory conversation she is left alone in the barracks waiting for her uniform to arrive, nerves begin to creep up on her as she hears shouting and screaming coming from the church outside so she skulks back to hide in the shadows, the only place she feels safe, many a militia member are nice to her whilst she waits but Junior Vince Valentine explains a few things and keeps her company until Scout Cailico Kate appears carrying a bag of armour, upon entering the uniform Jenifer feels much more a part of Cove and is raedy to begin working towards promotion*
