Kal was born into a farming family with only one brother that was older than him. Kal's brother use to be a member of the Jhelom Guards where he learned how to use a sword well, He served for 10 years then had to leave to help out his folks. Upon his return he noticed that Kal had grown up a little and now was interested in swords so he desided to teach Kal how to wield a sword prpoerly.
        Every day after the farm was taken care of they would practice, Kal was ever getting frustrated evry time he would drop the sword triing to block his brothers swing, But he kept at it untill it became easy and he no longer struggled to wield his sword. One day Kal and his brother Marcus set out early for a hunting trip that would last for a week so they could stock up on meat to make jerky for the winter to come. They travled to Yew where the best hinting could be found, They set up a small camp to get some rest for the next days hunt. That night Kal was awakened by a loud noise that came from outside the camp, He got up to find that his brother was not there, But he could see a corpes of some creature laying by where his brother was sleeping.
He grabbed his sword and looked around calling out for Marcus but got no answer. Then 3 trolls came in at Kal and he knew then what he had to do, he fought as best as he could but never dropping his sword. One of the trolls swung and hit Kal in the back knocking him down face first to the ground, Kal not wanting to be a trolls meal quickly spun around now laying on his back and still fighting, Cleaved one of the troll in the groin dropping it like a rock from a cliff. the other two being distracted by the seen forgot about Kal long enough for Kal to get up and kill them before they knew it.
           After Kal gathered his sences he then look around for Marcus finding him not far from the camp all mangled up, So Kal use his sword to dig a hole in the ground  and burried his only beloved brother. It was a long while before Kal could bring himself to leave him behind, but he knew he had to return to let his family know what happened. He returned home and as he suspected his family looked at him like he was a coward and marked him as so. Kal then left and returned to yew and wondered around till he came upon Telmar where he was recruited by the Telmarian Militia and served for awhile till the Militia broke. Now Kal was without a Family and no more friends till now that he came to Cove and Joined up with the Coveian Militia.
          Kal thought he left the trolls behind him but now he knows that there is some here in Cove and will stop at nothing to destroy the at any cost and will use any meens to do so.
